Re: Let's Play! Morrowind
No probs bro. Picking Atronach because it absorbs spells, and it's passive. Passive is mostly best.

I say either Lord (for the healing spell), Warrior (for obvious reasons), or Lover (The paralyzing kiss can be ridiculously effective, especially on certain quests)

Also, The Lover gives you agility, so it's almost as good as the warrior's 10% bonus. (Except that it also helps you dodge. But from what I've heard, your agility has a max where your fortify attack does not?)

Re: Let's Play! Morrowind
I'd say the Lover would be a good choice for you guys. Plus, it has a lot of shenanigan potential.
The spell absorption from the Atronach could be really useful, but I think that extra agility for the Lover might be more generally useful.
I'll wait for a few more posts, though.

Ok, Lover for me then. Didn't realise the agility was permanent. But you will deliver shenanigans!

Yeah agility fo sho. At all times I will suggest thieving, as that is what I do in any game where you can steal.

Re: Let's Play! Morrowind
"Show your papers to the Captain when you exit to get your release fee."I have papers, and I'll do whatever I please with 'em. Still, I like the sound of that release fee. I walk through into the next room, and close the door behind me. For the first time, I have the freedom to do what I want. Oh, the options. I'm half tempted just to strip the place clean, but a part of me does feel thankful, for the release and all. What do we do?Note: If you, as a group, decide to strip naked and leave your clothes in the breadbasket, that's fine. Do whatever the hell you want, don't let me decide for you.

Steal all the expensive ♥♥♥♥ that we won't get caught stealing. Remember to check that back room! And get that ring!

Yes, we need some contraband to sell to a merchant so we can get good weapons early on.

Re: Let's Play! Morrowind
Right, I'm pleased that we've got the slow and relatively boring chargen out of the way.
This means you'll be able to just do whatever, you know? The updates will also probably get a bit longer, and a bit more detailed.
I'd recommend getting in with a guild, a Great House (there are three to pick from), or the Imperial Legion or Cult. That way, you'll have a ready supply of quests to do at your leisure. Alternatively you could have an ultimate goal of collecting something (full set of Dwemer armour, perhaps?) or of travelling places, whatever. You might want to murder someone in every town, or do the Tribunal Temple pilgrimages.
Some sort of overarching goal will probably be helpful, so that you have an idea of what you want to do. (become a vampire?)
Lots of options for y'all.
Anyway, I'm afraid that is the last update for tonight, but I might be able to fit one in tomorrow morning, before work.

Steal everything worth more than say...ten coins, and then leave our pants as a calling card. And in light of Pete's recent post, I say we join a cult and attempt to kill one virgin female in every town/city/municipality/village/slum.
