Hey there!
I figured that since I love Morrowind so much, I may as well share it's many joys with you chaps.

So, if you've not played Morrowind, you'll probably have gone to that Wikipedia article. Well done.
Now you absolutely must listen to the main theme.
It's incredible, and it sets the tone of the entire game perfectly.

Of course, if you have played Morrowind, you'll be wondering what mods I'm running.
I have both the expansions, Tribunal and Bloodmoon.

The important (not graphical) mods that I have include one that lets NPC's chase you through doors, and one that stops the Dark Brotherhood attacks until you're reasonably important.
I also have a mod that stops the local wildlife being quite so aggressive (cliffracers), and one that improves drug realism with regards to shopkeepers magically knowing you have illegal substances.
Also, if we were to try to actively sell some skooma to an Imperial Cult merchant, he'll probably report us to the guard.

Finally, I have The Lighting Mod, so you'll want some torches or a night-eye spell or some such if you plan to go into any caves or whatever.

The only additional content I have is Books of Vvardenfell, which isn't too important.
I would recommend you guys buy some maps or something, though.

I'm thinking about making an update Morrowind topic in the vein of this, or this.
If people are interested, or want my full mod list, I'll probably do it faster.

Mods: I'm assuming that full-frontal nudity is not acceptable?
I might just have to hold my sword/mace/whatever in such a way that the offending article(s) is/are obscured.
Alternatively, we can try and get some tasteful placement of pots and the like.

I appear to be on the inside of a boat, and a shirtless Dunmer faces me.
He seems concerned, despite his fearsome appearance.
I can't remember much, but a name springs to mind.

What is our name?

Game was damn awesome, for those of you that didn't read the wiki, here's some crazy numbers:
1704 pages worth of quests, no typo there.
at least 100 square kilometers of map.
6 full real live novels worth of books.

Anyway, I never finished the story and I still regret it. Thus I started playing oblivion yesterday.

Oh and it's more moddable then CC. This game has some really awesome mods out there, you should never get bored.

Still, I thought it was to hard and even though the gameplay is very deep, the actual controls are lacking options. Oblivion is just more balanced. IMHO

Yeah, nudity will probably get ya banned...

Nitpickery out of the way, I love Let's Plays, and I loved Oblivion. So this should be good.

The guard strides down the length of the ship, and tells me to come with him.
I have no choice but to leave my new friend, and follow the guard.

We take the stairs up, and I can see another set of stairs, presumably onto the deck.
A red-haired Imperial stands behind them, and appears impatient.



I don't hesitate to obey the guard, and push open the trapdoor to be greeted by the bright sky, and the fresh air.
It goes some ways to clearing my head, and as another guard asks me where I hail from, I'm proud to answer him.



What race are we?

Choices?

Khajit - Bi-pedal cats with great vision and dexterity.
Argonian - Bi-pedal lizards immune to poison; can breathe underwater.
Dunmer - Dark Elves; skilled with swords, bows, and offensive magic.
Altmer - High Elves; the most skilled natural magicians, but a bit weak physically.
Bosmer - Wood Elves; scouts/rangers, mainly; good with bows.
Imperial - Basic human, a fairly balance class.
Orc - the Tanks of the game, highly skilled with heavy weapons (claymores/axes) and with armory.
Redguard - The most naturally skilled warriors.

^Are our choices, I believe. There may be more.

PS: Can the graphics look better? I know that for older computers, it can be a killer on the frame-rate, but that hardly seems important since this is like a screenshot adventure.

Well obviously we should go Redguard. I foresee much hacking and slashing in the future.

Both are awesome.

I'd want to be an Orc or a Bosmer, but I'm happy if we're a Khajit, Dunmer, Bosmer, Orc, or Redguard.

Pete might have more races included with his mods so we might want to wait till he tells us.
