Re: Survival Guide to CC
-If you are suddenly spinning around rapidly, jetpacking is rarely going to help. -Crouching can often make weapons which would otherwise hurt your actor from excessive recoil firable.

T'was worth a chuckle. Whether it was worth making should always be in the opinion of the creator, not the audience.

Yeah, the fall damage is based off impacts on the torso, and the gibimpulselimit of the head is generally quite a bit above this. So as long as you're not going ridiculously fast this is sound advice.

"Remember kids, falling on your face prevents serious injuries"
...yeah, I can imagine a commentator from the thirty's saying that sort of thing

Re: Survival Guide to CC
It's peculiarities like this that are the main problem of CC's somewhat binary damage system.

Re: Survival Guide to CC
Know that the Dummies' plastic/metal bodies are designed to withstand most small arms fire, and their weapons are designed to tear through organics. Most organic factions don't have penetrating weapons effective against groups of dummies, unless explosive by nature.
If you want to be superior, be a dummy.

Re: Survival Guide to CC
Actually, large numbers of small wounds work wonders. So if you have rapid-firing low impact weapons, use them.

Re: Survival Guide to CC
Anything that shoots with good impact can take off a dummies head in on shot, its like it just snaps off at impact.
