I have an idea for a mod and some help might be nice. I'd probably mostly need help with lua. PM if you're interested.

Seems like any good mod for the wildlife section would be based on Prom's concepts, and have a large base of Lua code.
Making something original earns a couple extra points from me.

@Azukki: You're free to help other people. As for directly entering the contest, no. People getting win streaks could possibly de-moralize newer modders, resulting in less entries in the future.
@Commodore111: Tiberium 2.0 is okay, but the public might rate you down if they don't believe you stayed true to the theme.

My flying saucer dropship for the overpowered contest had an Archille's heel.

I'm already about 3/4th done with my entry for this.
I should really be working on my AP Euro and Honor's English II.

In hindsight, these aren't as good as I thought. Not bad, mind you, but definitely not perfect. These can be used for this contest, but only for this contest. You might want to redo the bubble's shading. Personally, it doesn't set right with me. I can also give some advice on how to go about making a balloon crab if you want, but I won't directly code or script for you.

Re: Modding Theme of the X Time Period *Wildlife!
CrazyMLC the pixel art critic returns again! First off, the balloon is kinda wonky. The red brain thing doesn't look like it's inside the balloon. The way to do that would be to use desaturated colors that are a little closer to blue than normal, but your brain thing uses the same color as your average brain, making it look like it's outside the balloon. The balloon itself is just too dark, and the shape is wrong. Your balloon is a circle/orb while Arne's art shows the balloon being a little more of an oval/saucer shape. (Yes, I'm nit-picky like that.) The balloon shouldn't really be shaded; it's supposed to look transparent, while with shading it looks like a solid ball. The only problems with the body are low contrast, and lack of downs syndrome. Here's my take on it: Attachment:
File comment: And no, nobody can use this sprite sheet without my permission... I'm not quite as kind as Azukki. ;)

And is it just me, or does the balloon look like a boob?...

Re: Modding Theme of the X Time Period *Wildlife!
Yeah, I was already aware that the bubble looked off, and that those where the reasons why. One part where I think you're wrong though, is that my bubble is less circle-y than proms' concept art. I didn't sprite it quite up to full inflation, though, which is why it may look off. At the time it seemed like a good idea to lower the bubble's size.I was working on redoing the bubble, with quite similar changes to the ones you suggested, but didn't want to post it while it was incomplete and un-animated. You got me all interested in it again though, so I developed it a bit more. Attachment:
File comment: Anyone can also use these sprites for this contest. PM me if you do. The style looks nicer, but you'll have to finish the animation yourself.

It'll probably be last-minute entries. And there's still 8 days left.
