I'm sure the guns are powerful enough and not some tf2 guns clones.
The art style however, is awesome.

Been following brink since it was announced, and thus bought it when it hit steam.
It looks so damn nice, and the controls just have to work.
And bethesda is making it, so there must be a certain amount of quality.

All that, and mafia 2 isn't as bad as everyone says.

Not sure if anyone's been to Tested.com but it's an excellent and constantly updated newsette site. The guys are knowledgeable and always find something interesting to research, like high powered lasers and controversial iPhone issues (which don't matter). It's a sister site of Giant Bomb which is a database more or less for video games, old and new.
