Re: Unnerving tension
Worst case scenario would just be us having to do all the .ini again for the mods, with the sprites still there and all.

Can't be that bad. Worst comes to worst I'll compile a list of necessary changes myself.

Re: Unnerving tension
I don't know if there's a tension really. I feel more like people are drifting down into that "Eh, build isn't going to come anytime soon, not sure if I want to keep making things for it" stage. I know I did already, and so I retired from modding. The ones who stay either still have the attention span for modding (CaveCricket), still play the game, or stay for the OT community, like Minecraft and GMawd.

Re: Unnerving tension
Personally, i've just run out of ideas on what to do with the current build. Making batshit crazy guns and bombs only goes so far, and there isn't much variation to the gameplay right now. I'm hoping that B24 will reignite my interest, but there really isn't enough activity on the dev front to keep me interested. One devlog post every half year is just too slow, even for me.
Edit: Ok, one per month, but my point still stands. That's a long wait.

Re: Unnerving tension
apparently Data still required all devlog posts to be approved by him, and weasel won't man up and post them regardless of approval (he's perfectly capable of doing so, and has several in his backlog)

So is Weasel just being lazy?

Re: Unnerving tension
It'd also be good if Weasel at least showed up here at least once a month. I can't even recall the last time he was logged on.

Re: Unnerving tension
Last logon was last Friday the 20th (which is still yesterday for me). He's around, he's just not doing a whole lot of direct interaction. Moderators are cruise control for cool, etc.

Take for example how many times the whitebots where improvised into a mod. BTW which of the developers DO know whats going on with the base development of cc? Or if your hearts desire is to be pessimistic you can say he died long ago far away.Either way I'll be neutral here and say hey hope something happened during a year and a half of utter silence. (well not exactly utter silence -but you know what I mean-)

Re: Unnerving tension
Actually, if Dan died we'd be sure to know that from either the dev log or some other source.
