i think labs would be the easiest, but I'd like chozo ruins, out of all metroid levels, not just your 2 examples .

I'd recommend doing an open Chozo Area, Like the Chozo ruins. But if it gets tough for you then you can try for a lab like style.

Also I think theres nothing the X Parasite can do that the Metroids can't.. Unless we would have motivation and requests for them, then we would give it a try.. Sorry darkdoom.

Until I get word from none and thetophat (If he comes back) we should be expecting some sprites in the works soon.

I could get to work on an x parasite, though it may take a while.

X-Parasites sort of infect and take control of; sometimes mutating the victim, they are also impervious to conventional weaponry, so I think they are a bit different when compared to metroids.

they kinda work like the Cordyc mod game play wise. if there is a mission it would be cool to see X vs Metroid fights :D

There could be a custom Skirmish X-Virus mode (kinda like the zombots) that when a "copy enemies" is killed a X is spawned it will die quickly, but Fusion suit samus can touch it and it would work as a med kit 8)

What's this? I'm not dead? Not quite, anyway. Sorry for my (severe) lack of updates. I'm a full time biochem student and, without getting too deep into details, I've been very busy this summer what with a girlfriend, family issues, and a giant freakin oil slick in the gulf. Suffice to say things have calmed down, and I'll be jumping back into sprites soon. I left off work at the fusion suit, and that's where I'll be picking up. We'll see how this week goes.

On that note, with the sprites finished, all I'm really doing now are re-colors with slight editing. If someone wants to pick up one of the other suits to lend a hand, PM me and we'll see what needs to be done.

Like or hate?

The new flames for bingo are now green.

I think they look like carrot sticks, and this is why I am not a spriter  so as always help is appreciated.

Anyway...

TheTopHat your not dead!, hey thats even better!

Ohhoh oh P.S. I am thinking of making the attachable wings effect the ship if one gets shot off. Unless you right click, "stay" to blow off the other wing to stabilize yourself,
the AI would do it automatically after say 500ms or so? So watcha think?

Those are much better none. PM me the latest in Metroid production and I'll make it look pretty for ya.

Also I think the option to blow off the other wing should not be an 'option' just after say 5 seconds then it does blow it off for you then everything is all good.

YAY were back!

So... Who wants to see Fusion Samus, finished Varia Suit Samus, and the first tunnel section I made?

I'm not going to post, as I want them to be a surprise, but I have a few Samus sheets done, a couple of tunnel pieces, and- the best news, I think- I've gotten permission from Stemage (http://www.metroidmetal.com/) to use the glorious music of Metroid Metal in this mod. I highly recommend "the theme" "the ending" and "phendrana drifts." I've not heard from none recently, but I think it's safe to say that this mod is still alive and is still happening.
