Post Re: Roll To Dodge - Blue
Rolling, because 5 people have posted and I'll be away for several days.

CrazyMLC[5]: Seeing Tomaster and the stairs shoot past you, you immediately stop all of them with your Telekinesis, guiding Tomaster back up safely through the wreckage. You also grab you Shiv, and bring it back up as well. Then, you release the rubble from the stairs, letting it fall down to the bottom with a crash.
2/2 Active Abilities:
- Perfected Kinesises (Fire, Air, Water, Earth, Light, Electricity, Telekinesis, Life)
--- #-Point Star
--- Kinetic Trance
--- Healing Light
2/2 Passive Abilities:
- Olympian Power
- Photosynthetic Regeneration
1/4 Inventory:
- Wiffles' Orb
2/2 Equipped:
- DecaBow
- DecaBow Quiver
Injuries:
- Left leg broken (Splinted, Heal in - turns (No Sunlight or food))

Tomaster [5-1=4]: Before you can even attempt to dodge out of the way of the debris, CrazyMLC grabs you and the debris from midair, then carefully lifts you back up, guiding you around the chunks of rubble. He sets you down on the floor next to him, then grabs a knife he floated up from the shaft. Then, the rubble hits the floor of the shaft.
2/2 Active Abilities:
- Summon Shade
- Invisibility
2/2 Passive Abilities:
- Wing (+1 to dodge if flying)
- Super Strength (+1 to any rolls involving strength, provides moderate protection against impacts)
2/4 Inventory:
- 1 BLKBST Syringe Cartidge (40 Syringes)
- 1 Mostly Harmless Syringe Cartridge (25 Syringes)
2/2 Equipped:
- Force Amplifiers (+1 to any rolls involving strength)
- WolfHunt
Injuries:
- Shot Right Leg (-1 to combat rolls)
- Bruised Chest (-1 to every other roll, fades in 3 turns)

Foa [6-5=1]: In your current situation, you are pretty much entirely useless, so you wait for the pain to fade while watching Ragdoll fail.
0/2 Active Abilities:
- Ranged Teleprotation (Caused by an item, so doesn't cost a slot)
0/2 Passive Abilities:
0/4 Inventory:
- HIGH-SPEED HANDCANNON (TAKEN)
- 8 Mags for LadyKillers (Current Mags: 14|13) (TAKEN)
0/2 Equipped:
- Fedora of the Gods (TAKEN)
- LadyKillers (Dual Kickass Desert Eagles) (TAKEN)
Injuries:
- Punctured Lungs (-1 to rolls)
- Bound Hands
- Bound Ankles
- PAIN (-2 to rolls for 1 turn)
- Total Darkness (-1 to rolls)

JJA79 [1]: You try to outmuscle the stone with your Arthrokinesis, and predictably fail. I mean, you're trying to break stone with your hands. You do manage to pull an arm muscle though.
2/2 Active Abilities:
- Ergokinesis (Energy Control, +1 to melee and reflexes)
- Arthrokinesis (Control of joints and muscles)
2/2 Passive Abilities:

ShadoWKilleR255 [-]: Just pretend a happy dance goes here.
2/2 Active Abilities:
- Precision Mass/Energy Control
- Telekinesis
--- COMBO TECHNIQUE: Massively Effective Accelerator Rifle
2/2 Passive Abilities:
- Nanotube Skeleton
- Resting Regeneration
1/4 Inventory:
- Archipelago Map/Arm Repair Idea
1/2 Equipped:
- Knuckle Blade
Injuries:
- Shot Arm (Cannot use, 2 turns to heal)
- Skipped your Roll (+1 to next roll)

Ragdollmaster [1-1=1]: "Hmm. I wonder..."
You drop your shield, and grip your War Hammer with both hands. You then back up to the wall opposite the door, and begin building an electric charge on the hammer. Because of the BlueMetal, the charge crackles around the hammer instead of running through it, but your Electrokinesis prevents it from simply discharging into the air. Once you've built a big enough charge, you run at the door, and with a roar, swing your hammer at it in a mighty blow. The hammer strikes, and the electricity immediately discharges in a furious storm of lightning.
Of course, you rolled a one. The electricity immediately goes towards the path of least resistance, which happens to be you and not the insulating stone around you. The bolts of lightning crackling around the head of the hammer arc down the handle into your hands, and they immediately go numb. You can't feel anything but an immense tingling. It feels like you've been sitting on your hands for hours. The door is also unscathed, being made of at least 6 inch thick stone with reinforcing metal bars running through it.
2/2 Active Abilities:
- Invisibility
- Electrokinesis
0/2 Passive Abilities:
4/4 Inventory:
- Satchel
--- Whistle
--- Orange Smoke Flare
--- Green Gelatin (with Evil Pineapple Chunks)
--- A Fake Mustache
- Keyring
- Flask of "Sunshine"
- Carved Obsidian Key menacing with Spikes of Donkey Leather
0/2 Equipped:
- BlueMetal War Hammer (DROPPED)
- Steel and BlueMetal Shield (reflects non physical attacks) (DROPPED)
Injuries:
- Total Darkness (-1 to rolls)
- Cannot use hands (lasts 3 turns)

Game Event:All six Rollers are at the Spires.
Foa and Ragdoll are in a small room.
CrazyMLC, Tomaster, JJ, and Shadow are in a room, with the stairs destroyed.

1. Nano-Tube skeleton is a passive "ability" but it shouldn't take a slot.
2. After completing my happy dance>>Heal Tomaster's wounds

It's something that makes you SPECIAL when compared to a normal person, therefore it takes up one of your SPECIAL slots.
Don't you feel SPECIAL?

Anyway, I'm going to go back to my roots...

"Oh Nautical Shiv, it's so nice to have you back!~"

Ah the good ol' days where zombie-sharks were the threat and someone kicked a cake...

Maybe Hyper should put any dialogue JJ uses through the bad translator.

Sorry to kill your buzz with BOLD and CAPITAL but it's the PASSIVE slot is meant for stuff like Psychic Energy Shield, which instead of wasting a turn to activate it will activate itself when needed, and following Hyper's logic for the passive stuff, every PASSIVE can be turned into ACTIVE and backwards.

So you don't use your nano-tube skeleton all the time?
Where do you store it when it's not active then?
Your left pocket?

Also technically he MADE his nano skeleton. He doesn't continue making it constantly. Its there it requires no real effort with his mind to keep it there.

The Nanotube skeleton IS a part of me so I don't see why it should take a slot for just being there, and if you still insist, then JJ's stone cast should take a passive slot already.. Oh wait IT DOSEN'T.

That's irrational. A passive slot just means you have a passive ability, that doesn't require being specified in the action to be used, whether offensive or defensive, but is still foreign to your body. An active ability, on the other hand, requires specification in the action to be used. Your regeneration and Nanotube skeleton both don't need to be specified in order to affect the roll, whereas your Precision M/E control and Telekinesis do.

That sounds right to me, does anyone else have a problem with it?
Aside from Shadow, I know he'll have a problem with it.
