I just want to know how people like Warcraft and DotA. So, please rate Warcraft 3 and DotA in one comments. If you don't know Warcraft don't rate warcraft. Otherwise, if you don't know DotA, don't rate DotA. Max rate is 10. Which one you like?

Warcraft 3: 9/10. Battle.net custom games had me addicted for years.
Dota: 0/10. ♥♥♥♥ DOTA, IT MADE ALL THE GOOD GAMES GO AWAY.

Also, DoTA just sucks. I don't understand the popularity, it's nowhere near as much fun as a regular match.

Warcraft III: TFT - 7/10
DoTA (with the usual community) 0/10
Dota (with a friendly community) 9/10

Yes, yes, I'm glad hear that. DotA sucks. Nothing special, no strategy, no tactics. It is just Warcraft 3 TFT Edit.

Actually DoTA has elements which would make you a better melee player, mostly using your hero to it's full abilities.
Unfortunately, the community for DoTA is rather horrible, in all due respect they tend to flame every single noob they can find.
Therefor noobs have a hard time getting good at it. The fun of it involves killing the other hero because it creates a sense of accomplishment.

Therefor i would recommend something such as HON or hosting DoTA noob games to get better at it.

HON is A+ stuff.

Speaking of DotA alternatives, League of Legends is free.

Hah, HoN is 30 bucks for something you can get for free. No thanks, bro. Plus, from what I saw during the beta, it's community is rather elitist, and hateful of all that is good in the world.
