Post How can I get the CPU to use mods?
In skirmish, I mean. I'm sure it would make the game a lot more interesting for me, and that plenty of you have done it, but I can't find the topic, so could someone help me?

You can do it the old fashioned way:
open up Missions.rte/Skirmish Activities.ini

you will find this:

Code:
AddActivity = GABaseDefense
   PresetName = Skirmish Defense
   SceneName = Grasslands
   TeamCount = 2
   PlayerCount = 1
   TeamOfPlayer1 = 0
   TeamOfPlayer2 = 1
   FundsOfTeam1 = 5000
   FundsOfTeam2 = 5000
   CPUTeam = 1
   Difficulty = 3
   SpawnIntervalEasiest = 20000
   SpawnIntervalHardest = 8000

//Ronin

   AddAttackerSpawn = ACDropShip
      CopyOf = Drop Ship MK1
      AddInventory = AHuman
         CopyOf = Ronin/Sandra
         AddInventory = HDFirearm
            CopyOf = Ronin/Bazooka
         AddInventory = HDFirearm
            CopyOf = Ronin/Glock
         AddInventory = HeldDevice
            CopyOf = Ronin/Riot Shield
         AddInventory = HDFirearm
            CopyOf = Ronin/Medium Digger
      AddInventory = AHuman
         CopyOf = Ronin/Gordon
         AddInventory = HDFirearm
            CopyOf = Ronin/M16
         AddInventory = HDFirearm
            CopyOf = Ronin/Luger
         AddInventory = HeldDevice
            CopyOf = Ronin/Riot Shield
         AddInventory = HDFirearm
            CopyOf = Ronin/Medium Digger
         AddInventory = TDExplosive
            CopyOf = Ronin/Pineapple Grenade

   AddAttackerSpawn = ACRocket
      CopyOf = Rocket MK1

etc....

Code:
   AddAttackerSpawn = ACDropShip
      CopyOf = Drop Ship MK1
      AddInventory = AHuman
         CopyOf = Ronin/Sandra
         AddInventory = HDFirearm
            CopyOf = Ronin/Bazooka

AddAttackerSpawn = [typpe of craft]
CopyOf = [name of craft]
AddInventory = [type in unit/item type]
CopyOf = [Name of unit/item]
AddInventory = [type of item]
CopyrOf = [name of item]

You have to comment out the file activities.ini in the file index.ini, which is in the folder "Skirmish missions.rte" (Or something of the sort). Then you have to either un-comment an activities.ini in a mod's index.ini or make your own activities.ini.

That seems kind of complicated to me, even though it probably isn't. I'll probably just mess up the whole thing somehow. Can you guys tell me how to get the Mod Manager going? I've got Windows Vista.

These guys are joshing you, you can't actually get the AI to use your mods. That's hilarious.

Edit: I think it was pretty obvious I was joking mods.
