You'd have to cut that thing in quarters and eat it like a melon

It's not really all that big. Also, the Bonzai Burger is way better.

I'd have to say that, although I've never tried it, In'n'Out Burger sounds much better than Whataburger. My experience with Whataburger was just very bland food, okay fries with no salt, and soda with not enough syrup. And it took years upon years to get our order. Fast food it was not. At least for me.

In'n'Out burger was pretty good, I ate there when I was in Cali a few years back, and yeah, they're probably the best burger joint out there. But they still can't defeat the crushing might of...

TACO BELL

(Oh and I had to write that small to make it proportional to the epic of T-Bell)

The food was good, but I remember that their fries weren't all that great, and that they were a TAD overboard with the condiments on whatever the hell I ordered.

Taco Bell? What the ♥♥♥♥? You went to California and you still think Taco Bell is good food?

I can get infinitely better tacos for less money at one of a dozen taco trucks within a ten mile radius

Taco Bell: Would you like some 70% soy meat with your lettuce and tortilla?

Hahaha, you're raging about food, Grif. No, Taco Bell is still the best fast food joint out there. In'n'out Burger is good, but not the best. And I live in a town in Wisconsin, nowhere near any large cities (or small cities, or hell, large towns) so my choice of food is a few family restaurants, Taco Bell, McDonalds, Burger King, Pizza Hut and KFC. Taco Bell wins out over those. Unless you take a burger from Miccy D's and put a taco IN it. Then that's crazy-delicious. Or take a pizza hut pizza, cut circular slices out, and put either KFC or McDonalds in between.

Yeah, I'm sure if I had an In'n'out burger I'd eat there, and after I got used to their food I might like them better, but for now Taco Bell for me.

Oh, you're from the Midwest.

Nevermind, I wasn't aware of that. Being from the midwest invalidates your opinion on food.

And being from California (or the entire western coast for that matter) invalidates your opinon on what the best timezone is, but I still hear you clapping hands with MLC about it :P

I've had legitimate tacos from ye olde taco truck back in AZ, and taco bell style fried shell things, and my opinion on the matter is that I dislike both. On the one hand, a corn tortilla that falls apart in my hand plus oily meat, and on the other, a fried corn tortilla that cracks in half the moment you look at it, plus oily meat, limp lettuce, and too much sour cream. A flour tortilla bean buritto plus a flour tortilla cheese quesadilla for me, thank you very much.

Oh, you. Hmmm, and I suppose we all raise cattle, think of nothing but football and cheesecurds (OWAIT YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT THOSE ARE), and do nothing but get drunk?

Anywho, it isn't like I'm saying In'n'out is bad, I'm saying quite the opposite. I just prefer Taco Bell, personally.

I wouldn't mind In'n'Out Burger if it didn't have such a rabid following. Their burgers are cheap and uninteresting, which is really all one would ever want from fast food. I've never been particularly impressed with any aspect of their business.

But then, the only burgers I ever seem to get these days are bacon burgers from Chili's, so I'm not exactly an expert on fast food. Chick-Fil-A is good, though.

Droppin' in to divvy up my opinion on the best fast-food places I've eaten at, based categorically;

Burger/Fries - Hardee's/CJ's
Sandwiches/Subs - Firehouse Subs (Subway is a lot better when it comes to customization, but ultimately lower quality, and Quizno's is just worse than Firehouse)
Pizza - Papa John's (Domino's is an OK substitute, now that they've changed up their basic ingredients and their pizzas don't taste like ♥♥♥♥ anymore)

Special note on Taco Bell; there aren't really any competing fast food taco/burrito joints I know of, but generally the quality sucks (maybe it's just where I live, but whatever) I honestly prefer to buy those 30 cent frozen burritos from Wal-Mart and just microwave them up, serve with hot sauce and sour cream. BUT: I will admit that those quesidilla crunch wrap supreme things are pretty good. Probably the only real redeeming factor of the restaurant. Also the little jokes on the hot sauce packets are fun to read if it's your first or second time at Taco Bell.

EDIT: Actually, now that I think about it, Hardee's/CJ's has a few burritos on their menu along with a giant taco salad, and I'm pretty sure there isn't a national burger chain which lacks breakfast burritos on their menu (with egg and bacon and crap)

... what? We're talking about hamburgers here, people! Not TACOS!

Of course Taco Bell isn't too bad, as long as you can handle grease.

I just recently took a trip to Utah, and they have this restaurant there called Crown Burger. Anyone else ever tried it? They seemed pretty awesome.

Just to go along with your point, no I haven't.

But there is this great place in St. George that bakes their chicken and is the best darned Jamaican jerk chicken I've ever had. It's so crispy, spiced just right, and goes oh so well with a Blue Moon. It's called Wing Nutz, Happiness Through Wings and Beer.

Just look at the right-side of the menu and I doubt you'll pass any of these up.

All I'm saying is that Midwesterners are known to do strange, terrible things with food, and living in Wisconsin I can hardly expect you to know what good Mexican food is. You need to have mexican people involved in your food for it to be good mexican food. Taco Bell is good if you're incredibly hungry and have no money; you can choke down six tacos inside of five minutes and then brace for a gutbomb at a later date.

Good Mexican places are rated by their burritos, in my book. It should be at least eight inches long and a hefty monstrosity of flour tortilla, rice, beans, beef and pico de gallo. Also preferably covered in sauce.

In other news: I think I can safely say that the consensus opinion is on LOCAL JOINT X in terms of "best overall burger," CJ/Hardees for "best fast food burgers" and In'N'Out as best cheapest fast food burger by anyone who regularly eats there.
