But I'm not so sure it's even needed now. There's two different whitelist .txts in the directory I put the minecraft server .jar...

You really don't understand how an IP works, do you?

I read the official minecraft server tutorial and did what it says. it said leave the IP spot in the server properties blank. And yes, I understand SOME of IP stuff, but I do need help.

My server is updated with new software, get on and try it out.
Once everybody logs in, I or any other admin will assign you as builders.

Sam. If it starts with 192.168, it's automatically not the IP you give us.
127.0.0.1 is wrong as well.
