Re: EXILE Development
lol not really, maybe in a few weeks we'll have some form of test level with physics etc working. I'm still doing a lot of design (wasted a physics lesson just now working on setting etc, mostly on the "lost, advanced civilisation from ages ago" side of things. Not sure how I'm going to tackle the evil empire design, I'd like triax to be worked into it the way he was in Arnes document, I'm still thinking about how their buildings etc would be handled..
I'm swamped in school, but I managed to get the lib built for linux and started working padding into the graphics, which I'll get finished tonight (check the repo maybe 10PM GMT+12). We'll need installation scripts for *nix and a self extracting .rar for windows I suppose. I have no idea how mac OSX handles this sort of thing, but we can probably learn.

Re: EXILE Development
I believe that OSX uses a virtual drive instead of installers. Im guessing they do that for convenience.
Im pretty sure thats how they do it. Anyone who can correct me, Fire away!

Re: EXILE Development
I meant packaging rather than deployment. They just drag the package to their applications folder, already set up and what have you, but I'm not sure how we'll get the lua patching in..

Mmk, quote pyramid has gone far enough. True, I started it, but it's got to end now.

BIG FILE, WILL BE SCALED ONCE IT'S PAINTEDCan't let Arne have all the lineup-scribbling fun. I'm happy with the chibi style, but want some feedback. Obviously it's all pretty rough, opinions on everything welcome.

Aww, that's cute. I really like how he looks more like a deep-sea diver than a real astronaut. His head looks a tad distorted when he runs, though.

Aww, he's so cute <3
I reiterate that I'm available for boring things like splitting images out of sheets, repetitive datafile making, etc.

Re: EXILE Development
It's actually nothing like it. Scribblenauts and that only look alike because of the poor spritework in scribblenauts.

Re: EXILE Development
I suggest making the helmet a little more unique, A circle on a sphere seems a bit too original for the game.

Add two horizontal bars over the glass to protect from impact?
