Pistols apparently kill with 2-3 shots on regular swarm

I can't really play this very well, it lags so much on my computer.

Lags on mine too, and whenever I got smacked by a baddie my screen would go crazy, but Cricket told me a fix, and it worked, but I forgot it. Anybody else have any flippin' out screen problem?

I figured out how to use the Alien Swarm SDK. So, if I'm not on the forums for a lengthy amount of time, you know what I'm doing.

I'm a jerk sometimes. I would go ahead and weld all of the doors shut, and everyone else are stuck on the other side because they don't have torches. Then they have to hammer down the door with explosives and bullets, which takes a while.

The grenade launcher and the smart bomb are both incredibly fun and awesome to use. Neither of them are very practical, though. Important note is that the grenade launcher launches grenades to where the mouse is, but if you're standing next to an obstacle it will collide. So you'll want to be standing in an open area on your own, which makes it difficult to work as a team and, hence, survive. Same deal with the smart bomb missiles flying everywhere.

Play on insane with only Flamers, Grenade Launchers, and Smart Bombs.

Nobody wins!

Otherwise, the game is pretty good, if you have a balanced team, that can work together.

I generally play with friends, so I don't have such problems.

Have any of you ever been in a team where it was a better idea to just kill 'em all and do it yourself?

I've had it with some guys, cargo elevator, my first time as a medic. Took the medigun and a chainsaw(come on, easy diff) and while healing my team every ♥♥♥♥ 5 seconds because they all shot each other to pieces(autoguns and protorifles WTF) Then in the end I chainsawed the autogunner to death and thus kept the second tech alive. Oh and I ended up with the least friendly fire, the most kills and the most health.
I am never ever playing with polish people(poles) again.
