   |   Re: Win 7(64 bit), CC not starting up.Windows 7 Ultimate, 64 bit. I had this problem, but, uh, I basically just went into the account settings and changed everything I could to "allow it to do this".
 I have to put in my administrator password each time I run it, but it's capable of running, even from inside Program Files. I can look up the exact settings it has a bit later (wrong computer right now)

So that fixed it? Btw, is there anyone around here that likes the new security they build into windows? And as far as I know C++(unlike dx11) was included in the windows 7 installation.

 I completely disable it for me, and leave my guest account totally useless (when activated) in terms of almost everything.

   |   Re: Win 7(64 bit), CC not starting up.It was COMDO's Defense+ being a ♥♥♥♥♥. Turned it off, restarted, CC worked.
