Post Cursed mod folders. HELP!
It seems as though some .rte's are 'cursed', as in they will NEVER work, for example, a mod I am making just makes an error that CAN'T POSSIBLY BE TRUE
SO! WTF? I can't seem to figure it out, the error is telling me that the property can't be matched on line 2 in my scene, and that line is ' PresetName = *name*'.
And the name is plain, just letters.
When I change the name of the mod.rte to mod*number*.rte it works once, then NEVER WORKS AGAIN.
And sometimes it does not even error, it just dies.
HELP PLEASE?

I am sure this is just some weird thing that is to do with something on my end, but please help meeee...
And should this go in mod making, I know it is mod related, but it is all mods not just the one.

Sorry for the 'flame' post, I had to, i was VERY angry.

Try copy/pasting the contents of your mod to a new mod65.rte folder. Also, that "property" you define in your "mod.ini" has to match the directory that it's in. If the folder name changes, so must the filepaths in your INI file.

edited for clarity

I know that, but it would give a different error if it was that.

Crap, my bad. I honestly don't know if it would be your INI file or if that property that it's trying to find really doesn't exist. I think we'd need to see a pastebin.com of your ini or just the whole folder.

It would be funny (AND REALLY ANNOYING) if it worked.

Yea it's just crashing on me, and I'm not really sure why it isn't even starting to read the file. That's about all I can do to help, hopefully someone else can look into it. Renamed ini.ini to PKR.ini just to see if that was a problem. It wasn't.

I think evil enter/tab syntax is the issue.

Though like the above, i changed the .ini into ParkourRunner.ini

The scriptpath has incorrect tabbing.
The index.ini, i don't know if its wrong or not but i brought it back one return[enter] to make sure that wasn't the problem.
Plus, Line 2 was actually AddActor = AHuman because you had a blank like ontop, though im not sure if that causes any problems.

Anyway, it works now.

Thanks a lot man.
So tabbing? Usually it says could not match properly, but this just crashed.
But the point still stands, this is possible and it sucks.
