Re: Sprite Help Thread
Thank you; that's a great improvement! I wish I was as good as you! =D
Two questions:
Were the tiny holes intentional?
That 4-pixel-wide-one-pixel-deep hole at the bottom was for my magazine. I want to add my magazine there, but what you did to that spot looks so nice... What should I do?

Thanks, I've received a good teaching. You can paint the tiny holes if you want, but they leave you option to do some magic at 000+001-process. uHmm... leave me sprite a magazine then, it can't be very difficult... [done] Attachment:

Re: Sprite Help Thread
lafe: All of the sprites are pretty dark. Lighten them up a bit.
Coops9753 : That is great. The only thing I can see that could be changed is the grey barrel in the front of the gun, could use a tad more shading to make it look more cylindrical.

Re: Sprite Help Thread
A little submersible that is (so far) based entirely on the AQUA http://www.diseno-art.com/encyclopedia/vehicles/watercraft/sport_submersibles/AQUA_submersible.htmlAny suggestion on what I could do to improve it?

Okay. Is this better? Or does it need more shading?

Re: Sprite Help Thread
It's better, but could use a little more (shading). Also, soften the outlines on the dark part where it touches the blue. Great work so far. Edit: My sprite. Based on this.

Re: Sprite Help Thread
Could use some more curve and better defining on the outline and the lines inside.

Re: Sprite Help Thread
I would like to suggest more aggressive shading... Offto: Do this and you'll deserve a statue in Data's garden.

Re: Sprite Help Thread
@CC: darker outlines, more contrast. The actually placement of pixels is pretty good, though.
@dooder: Good shape, but far too large for CC. If you're new, always have vanilla sprite (maybe an actor and a weapon) for size reference. Plus you'll uh, need outlines and shading. Try one of the tutorials in the first post.
@BC: You also need to reference for size. I've had bases smaller than that. I don't care what it is, it's too big. Even if it isn't too big, start smaller.
