Ok guys, I'm terribly sorry about this, but some unexpected stuff came up and I'll not be able to complete my turn. Consider it a small miracle that I managed to find an internet connection to tell you of it.

Oh well. See ya on the 7th. For now, smuggling must be done.

Areku, you often make references to smuggling 'things'. Do enlighten me, I'm intrigued.

Oh, heh.

You see, brazillian taxes are quite (read: absurdly) high when it comes to electronic stuff (and statuettes/miniatures/whatever), but the customs laws are pretty flexible and full of loopholes. So, for a few years now, every time I go out of the country, I bring back a thing or two that i would otherwise have no access to. Mainly software, limited edition cups/mugs, miniatures, the odd book or two, stuff like that. This time, I'm aiming for a coffee machine. As long as the individual value of the products is not too above $500, the customs office doesn't mind, since they would otherwise have to do a lot of import/export paperwork. Plus, I pay a lot less, and get tax refund from the country I visited. So I get happy, the foreign shopkeepers get happy, and the customs office dude gets happy for not having to work more. Kind of a win/win situation, in the end.

So, not really smuggling, but I like to call it that because it makes people curious about wth I'm "smuggling". :P

NBTedit is amazingly fun.....

TNT can make giant-ass craters. Just FYI.

NBTForge works fine for editing the map btw, and INVedit for your inventory. MCEdit looks like it'll be awesome when it isn't as buggy.

http://notch.tumblr.com/post/763147353/ ... oooooooooo

Metric tonne of new features, including six new crafting recipes.

Edit
I found buttons and pressure pads.
Buttons are two refined stone blocks put on top of each other, and pressure pads are the new half-blocks, in either smelted stone or wood. Half blocks still exist, with cobble.

What's the red thing that's supposed to be used with a stick to be an infinite power source or whatever?

Red ore.
You'll need to generate a new map or travel pretty far to get it though.

so, red stuff "torches" are basically batteries

"current" travels through "wires" 15 blocks at a time, for longer transmission you'd need some kind of circuit to boost your signal without modifying it

pressure plates, buttons, and switches are all means of changing the binary state of current through a wire, but only switches are permanent

current will open/close doors, flipflop the corners of a minecart track, and set off TNT

I think that's about it

Is this still going? I bought this for me and my sister a while ago. It is really really fun. Is the succession over though due to his frequent updates?

Probably.

And from what Notch is saying, it seems multiplayer will be implemented soon-ish.
