				  Drop ship weapons  
					
						uhh, im new to modding this game, so this question may seem kind of stupid.                             im planning to make a harrier jump jet mod but im at a loss to put a turret on a plane. i looked at the dreadnought and small machine gun turret but it did not help.

						Ok so you know that you can put weapons( HDFirearms ) on ACrabs. To put on a ship you can add one Attachable( usually used as armor ) and then add the gun to that Attachable.

						OK, so, i changed the harrier code from, "AddDevice = HDFirearm" to "AddHDFirearm = Attachable" but when it loads, it fails to Match property at Mod.rte/Harrier/Harrier.ini at line 486!
  Any help? im probably doing wrong...

The only default actor that can mount a turret is an ACrab. ONLY AN ACRAB. If you want a turret on an ACraft, you have to use Lua. THIS IS THE ONLY WAY.

						Your user name is perfectly apt in describing your level of helpfulness. In summary, you cannot add turrets to any class of actor besides a crab without using sparkle magic, which is what I was trying to get across with those links. It's not that hard, but you need some background in the way CC is scripted. Didn't someone do a template for armed dropships? I could'a sworn I had seen one.

						how exactly do you incoperate lua into your code?  i looked at the gun ship mods, but im confused with lua's nonsense.  l  l V set create (self) higel go go go go if aaa34 === 456wery end end end end.
