That's because it has (pretty much) the entire world.

Re: Looking for a good combat flight game.
And I thought that MW2 was big with it's 12 gigs. EDIT: So yeah, I found the IL-2 Sturmovik 1946 from my brothers collections and I proceeded to try it. And I love it. Not only because it has my home country! The physics engine is amazing, too. Though it's annoying to go against russian heavy armored bombers with an old biplane made of wood.

Anyway, your best bet is IL-2 Sturmovik 1946, or Wings Of Prey, which is the PC version of IL-2 Birds Of Prey for the Xbox. Though as much as I like the visual/engine improvements in WoP, there were so much little things they changed that it doesn't feel the same, and when you get used to the original, those little things they changed really bug you. Really. You can also try Blazing Skies 1/2, which is basically WWII HAWX.

Oh, in-game, in the menu there are many more non-campaign missions if you click on single missions

Re: Looking for a good combat flight game.
Does anyone here own DCS: Black Shark, because I want to know if it is joystick-friendly. Edit: DCS: A-10c Thunderbolt announced, coming later this year. HOTAS is even releasing a new joystick- the A-10 Thunderbolt replica stick and throttle http://www.simhq.com/_air13/air_425a.htmlhttp://www.simhq.com/_commentary/all_101c.htmlhttp://www.simhq.com/_commentary/all_101b.htmlI think i died and went to heaven.

Starshatter is hands down the best aerial combat game I have ever had on my PC. The sky's not enough space for you? THERE'S PLENTY OF SPACE, OUT IN SPACE! Seriously, at will, you can just continuously fly up, and you'll enter the planet's orbit and the game becomes a space combat game (better than Freespace 2 IMO).

That, is perhaps the best looking space game ive seen, and Looks like it will hold my attention till Heavy Duty comes out. Gotta get myself the demo!
