Soldat, it looks good, but you're cramming too many details into the piece. Try simplifying it and looking for problem areas that need some improvement.

I thought that there were too many colors, and that the brown could be removed easily.
The little grey things at the waist have too many indents, it's a little confusing.
Also, I didn't change this, but the right leg (our left) is bent in such a way that it looks broken. Try to make a firmer, more defensive/offensive stance.

shitty paint concept art for a shock trooper for my faction. Looked a bit better before i saved it. ♥♥♥♥ hate how paint always saves jpg by default.

Your shading isn't really showing the form of the object and convincing us that it is a three dimensional object, it's almost a gradient of color.
Most concept art is made out of two colors, grey and white. It's like that because it's easy to edit and try new ideas.

Decided to give that Red Tail Hawk edit another go.

Still don't like how the stock came out, but whatever.
