The photosynthesis takes a slot because it isn't a natural process to humans, so your brain doesn't naturally know what to do with the energy it gathers. Instead your mind designates a portion of itself to figuring out what to do with and how to use the energy the photosynthesis gathers. Without designating a brain-chunk, the energy will just be dispersed mostly uselessly into surrounding tissues. So if it's off, your photosynthesis will heal scratches and things, but anything further than skin deep won't be affected.

But photosynthesis doesn't really need control. Plants don't have brains... All you need is a plant vascular system.

Panic grips him as he realizes that his entirety is melting into the same black mist that SJJ is bleeding. As his chest starts to dissolve, SS turns back to look at the real Shadow, and seems him stir and open his eyes. SS's last sight is that of himself, looking at him dissolving before his eyes.

Shadow JJ [-]: SJJ, still unconscious, dissolves without even realizing anything is amiss. He dreams of Cotton Candy as he does so.

Game Event:
I had such high high hopes for you. You're both very very lucky lucky that that was a practice round, yes yes you are. But now we go onto the main attraction. The big fight, with the other newcomers. The ones who are different. Yes. Would you like a corncob while you wait?
