   |   M-98 Widow SpriteCan someone please sprite the M-98 Widow from Mass Effect 2? ^This.^ It's my favourite weapon and I wanted to make a quick mockup from the Darkstorm Coil Gun.

   |   Re: M-98 Widow SpriteI would recommend taking a good, side-on picture of the gun, then using an image manipulation program to convert it into CC's palette, then changing the background to that 255 0 255 fuchsia color, and downsizing it to a good size for a CC gun. (you can use the vanilla weapons as a good reference for size) This way, you not only don't have to rely on someone else, but you get the experience, and know how to do it when yo need to do it again later.

   |   Re: M-98 Widow SpriteYou don't get experience from that unless you use that just for a refference for the sprite, alongside maybe a sprite in the style of cc for how the outlines are and such.

   |   Re: M-98 Widow SpriteOh yeah. Good point. I forget that I've had to do more work on the sprites when I do it that way. Well, he'll gain experience from learning to do it by hand, and.... ah, never mind. I'm just making a fool of myself.
Any good spriters here care to help the guy out?

   |   Re: M-98 Widow SpriteMy advice is to not just take a picture and size it down. That not only doesn't teach you anything, but it also doesn't work for ♥♥♥♥. Right now is a bad time for requests as most people have finals, so I think you should wait a week or two or try it yourself.

   |   Re: M-98 Widow SpriteMy difficult finals are over. If you have the sprites, I can supply the code and Lua.

   |   Re: M-98 Widow SpriteI don't mean to be whiny, but that's only about 2 3rds the length of the widow, or I'm REALLY bad with proportions.

   |   Re: M-98 Widow SpriteIt's longer than the Coalition Heavy Sniper. It's only 4 pixels shorter than a coalition heavy

   |   Re: M-98 Widow SpriteWhich would, for reference, give it a length just about six feet.
And modern antimaterial rifles are well shorter than that.

   |   Re: M-98 Widow SpriteYou are being whiny. That is perfect proportions for CC.

   |   Re: M-98 Widow SpriteActually, I just got the proportions wrong. Thanks, this will do fantastically well.

   |   Re: M-98 Widow SpriteAlso as a note, dont try to assume the size of it CC wise, Always put a reference in the sprite sheet so you dont go too bug or too small. Look at my weapons for my mod.. some are a tad too big. Ugh, and I have to fix them sooner or later ... Glorious sprite btw P3lb0x
