Post How to make the AI use modded weapons and actors.
Well, I couldn't fit it all into the title, but basically I just want to know how to make the AI, in skirmish mode, use modded weapons, actors, bombs, tools, and dropships and all that stuff. I was about to put this in the support forum, but I decided to put it here because it was not really a problem, more just a question.

So, how do I do it?

Hey Repulsion!
Good question, and yes, there is a way to change your enemy that you fight.

Before I tell you how exactly, let me explain that Cortex Command has been out for a long time. Many people have asked these questions before you, and it's best to search for them.

As an example, I used the search features on the forum.
Anything resembling "how make ai use mods" was disapproved, since the words were to common... :(
I tried to think of a few other ways to search, all of them turned up bubcus, until...
Change Enemies
It worked!
But, the result is way to common, you can't find any real information.

Another resource available to you is the wiki.
The wiki has pages on almost anything and everything you could need to know, and is still expanding.
Let's search here...
Change Enemies
Tada!
First result:
Activities.ini
If you had tried this, it would have been a lot faster than waiting for a reply.

So, in the future, please try to really SEARCH.
Just so you know, you shouldn't just search once and give up. You'll almost never find anything that way. (I've been guilty of that as well.)

Activities.ini is the ini that governs what the ai buys. It has the dropships that it orders in there, and all of it's contents, etc. You can change it by following directions that are included in most faction mods.

Thank you, and have a nice Saturday. :)

Or you could just use the Mod Manager.

It needs MMItem files but most big mods have them but if your trying to use small mods they usually don't have them
