The team really needs a medic, we had one, but they lost their healing powers for leeching powers.

Those two people are JJ and ShadoWKilleR, known as Real JJ and Real Shadow. Since the 'real world' has gone on without them I would say they are 'dead-dead'. At least I would hope so.

Also, could you structure your sentences a bit better?

Spinning the Spinal Cord (which is VERY fragile, apparently like toothpaste) 180 degrees would completely disconnect it. At the very least you should be paralyzed and a quadraplegic.
