Home-made Traps in CC
Have you guys got any little secret traps you routinely build? I've got a couple, here's some of the better ones. Grenade Bait. Pinned actor w/o inventory on top of a grenade machine from MP3. The theory behind this one is that all game this brain (I usually use the dummy controller, but I just used the scene maker) collects grenades for an hour or however long you last, then when the enemy enters, they see the bait, destroy it, and ignite the hundreds of grenades it has been amassing. Obviuosly you wouldn't use this as your primary brain. Here's a modified version, Finally, a use for that rocket silo!

Pits that go down to the bottom and actors with heavy diggers under a thin floor.

Digger Tower: A tall column with an actor weilding a heavy digger. Enemies fly up, run out of fuel, then either get mauled or fall down, keeping your diggerizer safe and your enemies piling up at the bottom. Fun to combine this one with the bottomless pit idea.

Building a base in mid-air and putting heavy AA on top. Seriously, as long as you don't connect it to the ground, the derpiddy AI will mean that your brain is more or less perfectly safe. The higher, the better. The only downside is the vulnerability to dropships crashing on your AA, but this is fine if you have some soldiers inside the base with heavy weapons.

The rocket silo is my most used bunker module, not even kidding.

Here is an easy trap, load a controllable retard with the deployable retards, place controllable retard where ever.

Have one teleporter somewhere that enemies will likely walk into. Make the other teleporter somewhere really high, or on the bottom of the map with a pit under it.

Crab Mine: load a vanilla crab with a bunch of impact explosives, enemy either steps on or kills crab, causing it to release them. basically the same thing in the first post but you can order them from a craft in unlimited amounts.

Re: Home-made Traps in CC
The "floating Bunker" idea is not as "undefeatable" as it sounds. The enemy landed a drop-ship on top of my bunker and dug to the brain. Oh, and perfect trap is a ton of land-mines under a extremely thin floor. If any one jetpacks or walks over it, BOOM! oh, and rocket door. The enemy will destroy the rocket, in which is in a door-way, therefore causing death by rocket pieces. Last but net least, a rocket mk II over a tunnel. if the enemy walks by, ignite thrusters.

Re: Home-made Traps in CC
My best one, before I started using mods (back in B21, when I didn't know how mods worked or how to use them, until like B22) was I made my base entirely out of those white blocks which were the hardest material out of any of the vanilla materials. Then I put in that Acid Room if you guys remember that. The one where there was a pit with two acid sprays. That was a long time ago. Anyways, that always worked but I'm not sure if that counts as a home-made trap.
