N 350s are maintenance hogs. Enjoy endless recalls. Then again, I do drive a Toyota.

By hard earned money you mean my father paying for most of it, and me financing the rest

then yes

It's a VW beetle kitcar, that my father and uncle bought like 30 years ago but never finished. So 30 years later it is still standing in my uncle's basement and he would really like the extra space. That's where I come in. All I have to do is finish it(needs about a weekend of love and care) and I can take it with me.
Only problem is that I have to wait 2 more years before I can start taking driving lessons. Damn you Dutch laws!

Can't legally drive it for seven more months, when I can get my permit, but until then it'll be waiting for me.

Oh yes :3
Note: not the actual picture, just the same model. CBA to get a real picture.

Even though it's from 2003 (incidentally the same year Chevy stopped manufacturing the Monte Carlo) this ♥♥♥♥ runs like new. Essentially it was my dad's extra child, he pampered it over the years and probably spent more money on it than he did on me. Includes a newly integrated GPS and satellite radio, and cruise control ;o

Hey don't be like every other dumb kid and let it rot while it's not being used. Proper maintenance is still necessary.

My dad still uses it atm (aka he is still pampering it) but he's blatantly told me that he's giving to me when I turn 15. Apparently, he's already put a down payment on a Lincoln :P Prefers luxury to power, I suppose. Unfortunately this does put the pressure on me to get a job soon as I doubt my parents will be willing to pay for gas etc., so I may need to expand my search a bit. (Though that is another plus to this baby- I'm no longer limited to a small area of work ;O)
