The eye will then give John additional sensory information, allowing for 3p0k combo moves that inflict 2x damage per hit OR can hit multiple targets per hit. I just think that giving the eyes to John seems better than taking the chance of horrific mutation from dunking your head into the cauldron...

Collect those eyes, of course. Put off using them until it can't be avoided.

Re: CYOA: Hephaestus Thunders!
You forgot to collect their hides. Their bones. And their organs. John + Bone = Better and slightly more gothic John? Also Duh102 wrote: > Continue onward, destroy more creatures. If you reach 3 teeth or less on your health gear, go back and recuperate in your hidey hole home. This. Just keep killing crap. It's all we're going to recommend, even if we happen to walk by some damsel in distress or something.

Obviously, we kill the damsel in distress too. And then take the loot.
If we get more eyes, we just combine them with the alloys. Then combine those eye+alloy together. It'd be better if we get a non-operating chassis.

Re: CYOA: Hephaestus Thunders!
A damsel in distress we can ignore. However, if there's a woman who's just plowing through the enemies with a large sword and she's emitting dark energy... Run away. That's Black Man. We don't want to get mixed up with her.

Also, to answer your question, I'm liking this. It's pretty funny. Also, I, for some reason, find it immensely fun to steadily improve little John. :3

Oh hey, we haven't flous combined the shirt and tie yet. We should get some Flous armor and upgrade them. Maybe we can nullify damage from these small guys.

Duh102 wrote: > Continue onward, destroy more creatures. If you reach 3 teeth or less on your health gear, go back and recuperate in your hidey hole home. You casually proceed and find a set of stairs!
You advance on.
You are now in Trial Fortress area 2!
You encounter 2 Clockwork Sprites!
You give the first a good whacking, but not quite killing it.
They attack you together for 3 Gear Teeth!
You break some time records!
Alone, the other Clockwork Sprite doesnt do nearly enough damage. You take 1 damage.
You grind the clock to death, resulting in its demise, and you loosing another Gear Tooth. New items in your inventory are:
Broken Clockwork A broken piece of the workings in a clock. Fairly sturdy. Sturdy, Shiny, Ticking
A nice piece of clockwork, even though its "technically" broken. The ticking can still be heard from it.
Clock Hand A hand from a clock. Might be a little sharp. Piercing, Bendy, Shiny
The arm of a clock. Its great for telling time.
You instinctively proceed home to mend your wounds. Man, this would be a good time to have a Sleeping Capsule. Sadly, to get one you need to make it or buy it yourself...

Find more eyes. Make sure to combine one of those broken clockworks with an eye. Eye first. Also, combine the eye with an alloy. Eye first as well.

I'd like to combine the clockwork with the eye to see what abomination comes out. But we might need to save the eye for later.

Re: CYOA: Hephaestus Thunders!
Good. We got a lot of crap on that adventure to merge together.
Clockwork + Clockwork Clockworkx2 + Clockwork Clockworkx3 + Clock hand
Unless that becomes something of use, such as a time machine or insta-healer device, or something else of that magnitude: Clock Thingy + Armor Piece Armored Clock Thingy + Eye
And unless that becomes something of use, such as some sort of clock cyborg: John the Atomizer + Armored Clock Thingy with an Eye
