You inhale loudly, getting a good whiff of where everything is. You can now find around in this room.

The Shop Keep is a little perplexed.

Go to the far left corner of the room and ask the Merchant about the posters on the wall

Then ask him how much a small Flux Capacitor and a broken Pulse Carbine will cost him.

Marshall: "Excuse me, Shop Keep? What do these posters read? Im blind, but i get around by smelling the surroundings!"

Shop Keep: "Oh, thats actually a pretty nice talent you have there boy! Ok, lets see here:"

"The top one has a potion printed, and reads: Are you tired of getting powerful poison damages? Breaking your limbs? Headaches? Well then look no further! For the D*Inc's Cure-All tonic can cure even the nastiest status conditions!"

"The middle one has a plain shield printed and reads: Do you also do like all the newbies and go to battle without armaments? Dont be a fool! Get some tools!"

"The lowest one has printed a sword getting combined with a leaf to create a leaf sword, along with a picture of a Creational Cauldron! The text it has reads: With the Creational Cauldron, you too can create wonders of the mechanical nature! Created from the timber of a summonwood tree, and equipped with many different settings, the Hepht Co. Creational Cauldron will always please!"

Marshall: "Thank you Shop Keep! Now, do you have a Flux Capacitator and a broken pulse carbine?"

Image
Shop Keep: "A what and a what? Why dont you take a look at my wares?"

You are now at the shopping screen.

Okay, check the weapons and armor. Your walking stick should serve to be an excellent weapon for the time being, but you'll need some armor. Like a shield.
1000 heph is quite a lot to simply start off with if you're in similar sectors as the other two we've (tried to) help(ed) out. They started with 0. Get a decent shield (but try not to spend over 250 heph).
What are the properties of your staff? Is it wood, metal, light, heavy? Do the same for a shield you get. We should know what materials to upgrade them with.

Ask the shopkeeper to go through each option and list out all the other shop options.

Obviously the leaf is all-powerful. Buy it.

Marshall: "Can you tell me what are in the Weapons and Armor section?"

SK (Shop Keep): "Certainly! There is only two things im afraid:"

Flous Top
Simple Cloth Chest Armor.
Stretchy, Light, durable

A simple tank top woven with Flous to increase its defensive powers. It still ranks at a low defense, but its better than normal clothing.

Plain Shield
simple round Kark Disk.
Hard, Light, Clean

A simple shield, good at fending off attacks. Still a very low class item.

"Those are the things in Weapons and Armor!"

Image
MM (Marshall Mathers): "Ok, what about Materials and Molds?"

SK: "Certainly!"

Bottle
Nice clean bottle to store liquids.
See-through

Its a fine bottle, used to store liquids found in battle like blood or mucus.

Figmented Leaf
A smelling leaf.
Smelly, Fragile, Plant

A simple leaf with a terrible scent. I wonder what use it has.

Luscious Timber
A fine piece of firewood.
Sturdy, weighty, Unrefined

A fine piece of Timber if you ask me! Perfect for your first armor combination!

"And that is That!"

MM: "Now, how about those Buffing Items?"

SK: "Sadly, there are no Level 1 things for that category..."

"Now boy, what do you want to buy?"

Examine your own clothing first, check for bottomless pockets, and it's use as armor compared to the Flous Top.

If you can carry the items (with shield equipped to OFFHAND, of course), get the shield, one wood, and one leaf. Then head back to your house.

No Pulse Carbines on Hephaestus? Damn...

Buy the Flous top and the firewood, go home, Fuse them together with the Top being the dominant and the Wood being the lesser component, and you now have wooden armor!

Sell it.

Become an experimental Arms dealer.
