Kay reload for closing portals is not that good perhaps a tap on the piemenu to close both portals.

What if you need to change to a weapon to shoot through the portals? Or you have the portals open and you're trying to use a mod that uses the pie menu (HL2 Gravity Gun for instance) and you don't want to close the portals?

What about the Idea of Reloading toggles the blue and orange While double tapping something rids of the portals?

FYI keyboard users can't scroll to change weapons. They have to use the Pie Menu. The pie menu might also be double tapped accidentally, reloading the portal gun is less likely to be an accident.

Might be slow if you have to reload before each shot to change the portal.

I was wondering if you could use your duel fire script on this so you could activate the gravity gun pick up like in the game?

Then how about press and hold Left, Down, and Right for like say four seconds to close both portals.

A gamepad won't be able to do that.

I vote for multiple options: Have hotkeys, single tap double tap, etc. in seperate mods in the final release. I would prefer single tap double tap, though. Please don't even make scrolling an option; it would feel weird and not be compatible with all OSes.

Hmm, multiple downloads for different controol schemes? That sounds good. But I still want everything to be in a single .rte, so maybe multiple scripts, and then you can easilt change the script according to your prefered control method.
