iPhone is decent, would be ok with more carriers and the OS was more like a super-jailbroken one.
iPod, yeah, only good one IMO is iPod Touch. It needs a camera and radio though. ♥♥♥♥ the nano.

Yeah I really have nothing to say to them except maybe get a server that can handle more people downloading ♥♥♥♥ at the same time. I'm brand new to Steam.

I've always heard how people go crazy for Portal. Now I've experienced it myself.

I started listening to Still Alive over and over again these days.

There's this part of the last level that I don't like that much. There's a vent shaft about head level, and you can use your portal gun to get in it because the walls in the vent and the walls around it are portal-proof (and you can't use your arms to climb). The only way I've managed to get in is by collecting props and stacking them until I have a high enough mound to jump off of.

You did it wrong, after you remove the claw, you shoot a portal horizontally to the entrance and shoot one on the floor, go through it twice and you fly into the vent.

Edit: I loved the ending menu, i finally got cake!

Black forest cake is the best. Too bad my computer is too crap to play.

Lol, finally some good use of a chair in the game.. But seriously, That part you would stare and try to jump up into it for ages. I didnt know what to do for quite some time.. Finally i said "F*** it" and noclip'd...

I managed to beat the game in 4 Hours... Anyone do better? (Dont worry, I absorbed all the portaly goodness when I first played it)

EDIT: Also, Steam wise. Dont go on buying like 6 games in a week or else you will get some letter in your mailbox asking for more money from you because your credit card was "Disputed"... I learned the hard way and had to make another account and all I got is Gmod and Counter Strike, Notin bad happen to me..

Why did everyone get stuck there?
Like at first, i thought you had to stack barrels up, but no, you could push e on the claw and it would fly into the "light".
Then, you would do a tiny momentum gainer by just putting a portal under you and the way opposite of the vent.

Edit: Biggest frustration during the game was the godamn red eye thingy, just floating out of reach, and once i finally got it down...; first, it was scary as hell just snarling at me. Second, i fricken dropped it into the incinerator a second too late, just as i let go i died from nerve gas....

It's taking me 6 to 9 fudging days to buy a game, that's what's wrong with it!

I have only two problems with it.
1. This isn't so much a problem as a confusion. Do I actually own the game, or do I own the right to use it? If the answer is the second, I have a problem then.
2. It takes a long time to start up GMod, and I've heard similar complaints from my friends about other source games. Dunno if this is a technical limitation or an artificial one, but it's real annoying.

you dont blame steam for the game, you dolt. if garrys mod takes awhile to load, you blame garry, not gabe newell.

and valve's terms & conditions is no different than a game distributed through brick-and-mortar. read the terms & conditions from a game you buy in the store. you are still buying a license. having a CD or DVD does not mean you "own" the game. get off your high horse.

you don't own anything unless you contribute to the company in the form of stock or stakeholdings. you are a person who has bought a license to use a product. look it up, cuz. this applies to everything, not just video games. the only exceptions that exist are a) having ownership in the parent company or b) open source software

marteen: you must live outside the united states, do you not? why is it the fault of the company that you live outside their typical retail environment? and if you don't like it, don't use their products. that's the joy of a free market

I didn't even removed the claw or stacked, if I remembered correctly. I just found a portal-able-wall at a slim angle through the shaft and opened a portal to it.

Well if you'd get off your high horse, you might see that I mentioned that my friends have noticed that all of their games take a while to start up as well, such that to me this seems like a problem with steam. This may or may not be the case, and as such if I had an explanation it wouldn't be a problem.
To further elucidate, I question the load time when steam indicates the game is loading, before the UI for the actual game appears and indicates it is loading.

Second, you know well and good what I meant by "own", and it wasn't that I was able to dictate how the IP is used. I meant I owned the license to use the game as I care, as long as such usage does not violate copyright law in regards to IP contained within the game, IE, install it as many times as I like on as many machines as I like with no regards to registration on some third party server.

It is my opinion that any attempts to remove this and related abilities from a user may not be legally wrong, but ethically wrong, and such treatment will eventually kill the industry, but that's not within the scope of this argument.

Finally, I can blame whoever the hell I want, I'm a (so far) slightly disgruntled customer who wants better service. I don't suppose you'd like to contest my right to complain (even if my complaints have no bearing on reality)?
