   |   random gibbing?while playing skirmish, my actors sometimes gib for apparently no reason at all, can someone please tell me why this could be happening? it often happens in the same spot two or three times before it stops.
(i know for a fact it is not the moid limit being reached, since most times this happens i check to see the moid count and it's at about 80 or so. one actor does not consist of 170 something moids.)

   |   Re: random gibbing? It could be the fu-fact that even a shrapnel of sand created by an explosion can gib your actor. Are you sure there's nothing coming from anywhere that could be killing them?

   |   Re: random gibbing?usually when this happens i'm playing in skirmish mode with enemies disabled, the only explosion would be one i created.does gib impulse limit stack over time or something? that's the only explination i've thought of so far.

That's why loads of light particles can pop your head even though none of them causes a wound. It's unlikely to be this though, as you'd usually notice particles hitting your actor unless they're invisible. Otherwise it could be the level seam, as other people noted. It doesn't give me problems like this, but it has caused many oddities through the course of time.

   |   Re: random gibbing?Oh, yeah it must be the level seam then... is there any way to prevent that?
