Re: Roll To Dodge!
Rolling. Also, implementing the new balancing method this time, so you're all gonna get hit.
CrazyMLC[4]: You've seen what these things can do, and this time, you're good and ready. As you throw the newest heat orb into the crowd of sharks, you use Aerokinesis to push out the less flammable gases, replacing them with oxygen and hydrogen from the surrounding area. The sharks continue to run towards you, still slipping and sliding on the ice, while others continue to claw their way out of the water. The flame orb bounces on the ice, up into the air, and you thrust your fist forward directly at the orb, sending a spark of flame at it. "Fry." The orb erupts, bursting into a cherry-red cloud of elemental flame, then the surrounding air ignites, and the entire thing blooms into a massive blue-orange flower of death, sublimating the sharks directly under it, and scorching the rest into unrecognizable charred hulks. Using your Pyrokinesis, you continue to stoke the flames, sending the fire down and across the ground to immolate as many of the sharks as possible. After engulfing about half of the total group, you fall to your knees from exhaustion. 12 sharks avoided the blaze and are now running towards you, while 28 more were still in the water and climbing out, and also survived. The 12 will be at you next turn, and the 28 will take 2 turns. Abilities: - Pyro, Aero, Hydro, and GeoKinesis [***] - #-Point Star - Olympian Power - Metabolic Regeneration [*] - Photosynthesis [*] - Razor Leaves Inventory: - Nautical Shiv - Wiffles' Orb - DecaBow - DecaBow Quiver Injuries: - Attracting Sharks (Lasts 11 turns) - Exhausted (-2 to next 2 rolls)
rjhw1 [3]: Using all of the stored sunlight you have, you form a ball of light that illuminates the entire cavern. You can see that the cavern was roughly carved from a dark stone, not the marble forming the hills on the island above you. You can see numerous craters, no, pits in the cavern floor from up here, all going straight down into the solid stone and curving off in different directions. Then you realize that you're still hurtling towards the stone floor at high speeds. Abilities: - Greater Zombie Control [**] - Dark Matter Synthesis [**] - Zombification (Increased speed and strength) - Dragon Pulse Style - Surging Dragon Pulse - Twisting Dragon Tornado Kick - Solarkinesis [**] Inventory: - Wimpy Facial Hair - Spas 12 (7 shots left) - 24 12 Gauge Shells - Loaded AS50 (13 Extra Rounds) - Scythe (Death Render) - Rabbat Swarm (45 Rabbats)
Tomaster [1]: You give the shade the broken "Lawnchair" to fix, and before you can stop it, it eats the Lawnchair whole. No chewing, it just shoves it into its mouth and swallows. The shade, now looking full and satisfied, burbs and lays down to sleep. Furious, you decide to take out your anger on some Zombie Sharks. You turn to where MLC is BBQing the sharks, but you manage to slip and fall because of the ice, landing on your face. Inventory: - M79 Grenade "Lawnchair" (No ammo) (Broken) - TF2 Syringe Gun (66 syringes, filled with random drugs) (Broken) - Pulpy (Large Flaming Mace) Abilities: - Wing (+1 to dodge if flying) - Summon Shade [**] - Flickering Invisibility - Super Strength [*]
Foa [5]: As you put on the Fedora, you can feel its energy surge through you, and you gain a new understanding of its mystical prowess. Knowledge floods into your mind, and the power of the Fedora is apparent; Teleportation. While wearing the Fedora, you can transport anything you have knowledge of to anywhere you know about. It can even transport multiple things at once, and can teleport specific shapes as well. With the Fedora, you can easily regroup your team, send items between each other, or travel faster than the others! The Fedora also purges your zombie virus, sensing an intruder in its true owner. Inventory: - HIGH-SPEED HANDCANNON - DM Legs (Cheetah, VERY Broken) - Fedora of the Gods Abilities: - Ranged Teleportation
JJA79 [2]When the white fades, you see an infinite blackness, with a circular platform of grey stone about a foot high and 15 feet across in front of you. Nothing around here seems interesting, so you try accelerating a punch with Ergokinesis, and end up dislocating all the fingers in your hand. You barely manage to muffle a yelp, and fall over on your side, cradling your hand from the pain. Abilities: - Life Energy Stealing [*] - Always Thinking [-*] - Gyrokinesis (Gravity Control) [***] - Ergokinesis (Energy Control)[**] - Bird Communication [*] Injuries: - Dislocated Left Fingers (Cannot use left hand)
ShadoWKilleR255 [-] JJ lets out a muffled yelp and falls over for some reason, and you dismiss it as him being an idiot. You move towards the stone platform, taking a closer look. It appears to be circled by runes engraved onto the stone, but what kind of runes and what they do is beyond you. Warily, you take a step onto the platform, and nothing happens. With a bit more confidence, you step onto the platform and walk towards the center, not seeing the runes light up behind you. You don't realize the runes are alight until the light spreads to the runes in front of you, and at that point it's too late to escape. The light flashes orange, spreads along lines inscribed into the platform towards the center where you are, towards a smaller circle that you stand in the middle of. No matter how hard you try, you can't move, and the light fills the lines surrounding you. It flashes bright, and your head feels like it's exploding, then it stops, and you fall to the floor.
Abilities: - Precision Mass/Energy Control [***] - Telekinesis [***] - Nanotube Skeleton Inventory: - 5 Small Energy Orbs - Archipelago Map
Frederic [-]Frederic is still hibernating. (2 TURNS)
Energy Level: 66%
Game Event: The man in the red robe reappears in a swirl of red wind. "Ahh, there we go, yes yes yes. All of you and all of your friends too. Now you can play! SINCE YOU ARE NEW, I'll be nice and tell you how to play. I don't always tell people, so consider yourselves lucky, alright? Alright. One rule, and another rule. One rule is don't die. Another rule is make the opponent lose. Okay? Okay! On to the game!" Shadow can barely get a word in. "What? Wait, what?! Hold on now!" Before Shadow can protest further, the red wind sweeps JJ and Shadow up again, and everything goes white a third time. When their vision clears and they can once again see, they appear to be in a colosseum. The top is open, and the sky is a swirling blood red, with hundreds of figures in identical red robes lining the stands. They all give out a cheer, and JJ and Shadow notice who's at the other end of the colosseum. It's... Themselves?

Re: Roll To Dodge!
Somehow this is going to be a duel against our shadow selves. No pun intended.
Unless i read that incorrectly and that we are facing each other.
>Construct cast for broken hand while watching shadow selves cautiously. If they attack us blast them with some Ergokinesis

Re: Roll To Dodge!
JJ, create a spherical void of gravity (space) around those two at the other end and see what happens.
Shadow, convert any energy they send at you into non-harmful energy for yourself (like HP for example) as a defence mechanism.
I have a feeling that anything you do to them will also affect you. Like voodoo dolls. Or mirrors. So you will have to find a way to hurt them that doesn't harm you.

Re: Roll To Dodge!
What was that boss in FF4 that you had to heal to kill? It was hard until you realized you could just use two elixirs to kill it.

Re: Roll To Dodge!
Well in FF6/3 (depends on country) there was a ghost train that was undead; undead all got damaged from healing. He was insanely hard to kill...unless you killed him right away with a phoenix down.

I think I'm going to need some cover over here. > U~tsu... Anata osoroshii shishi... Kodai no kyōryoku na ningen ga, watashi no kōru ni mimi o katamukeru. Watashi wa kurayami no chū, korera no ikimono o taosu herupu! Watashi-tachi wa modotte jigoku no soko ni sōshin shiyo u! Sutoraiku! 5 Pointosutā! (Japanese looks more awesome to me than English for some reason.)
How do these stars work, anyway?
ALSO, I DIDN'T ROLL A 5 OR 6. I'M PISSED.
Tomaster: He's made out of metal, right? Have him turn into a "Lawnchair"!
