- UniTec 1.2.2(!) update, all UniTec mod factions now have their own turrets
- CustomFactions.cfg support. Create CustomFactions.cfg in Factions and add/enable/disable your own custom factions there if you don't want to reconfigure anything every time Unmapped Lands is updated. CustomFactions.cfg with your settings won't be overwritten by updates!
- Big tutorial about factions in unmapped lands. If you want to add or edit some factions you MUST read this 7 pages tutorial first. It explains everything. See included Unmapped Lands Guide For Modders.rtf file.

- Added voices which can inform player about some events. For an example on how to add voice to some faction refer to any vanilla faction definition. To disable voices open CF_MissionLibrary.lua and set CF_EnableVoices to false. It's right at the beginning of the file.

- At last I've added that cool custom music MaximDude found for Unmapped lands long time ago.
Download standalone music pack to enable.
- Mission pack activity. Select any mission from attack or defence mission and play with the faction of your choice.
- More rapid-buy presets. Bear Federation, M.D.C. and all W40K compilation factions now have pre-defined buy presets.
- Rapid-buy controls changed. Activate - triple down, left-right - select preset, up - confirm, down - cancel.

- You can quickly buy troops using predefined presets. Presets are defined in faction .lua files. To order a preset select any friendly AHuman actor, press down until preset selection UI appears. Use left and right to select preset, press down to order, up or switch actor to cancel. Cargo delivered to current actor position, drop zones ignored. Currently only vanilla factions have presets, but you can define your own.

Old saves and game states not compatible with R5 version, delete them and CURRENT.DAT from CampaignData!!!- New treasure - Particle cannon chip. Every chip gives five random particle cannon shots in attack and treasure missions at start
- Brain unit now have a teleport. Set source and destination via pie menu, turn it on, and troops from source will be instantly delivered to destination. On arrival they loose 35% health and there is a 7.5% chance of instant gib. Teleport itself can teleport it's holder to destination, threats applied. If teleport is broken or dropped, source and destination still work, but will gib your troops
- New defence concept. You can defend up to 5 your territories per turn by pressing on them, but there is a 25% chance that you defence will fail and you'll have to fight
- All missions now selected by random
- Brain problems fixed, all factions should work fine now

- New tactical activity Treasure Hunt. Select friendly territory to search for artifacts from tradestar. You can find Mine Hack Chip to increase your mine output for 10% per each chip. Tradestar Midas hack chip, which reduces all prices at strategic screen for 10% per chip. Gold Chip just gives you 5000oz of gold

New faction files are not compatible with Blockwars, Tartarus or Unmapped Lands MP faction files!!! Configure you faction in Faction.cfg as usual just don't ever disable Nobody faction.
Custom factions don't have personal icon by default and get random generic one. To get generic icon just put nil in CF_FactionIcon[factionid].
If you want custom icon send me you icon and faction file to include in Unmapped Lands or define icon in your faction module.
Icon images and definitions are stored in ForeignMapIcons. BTW including URL to your faction in faction file could be nice
