From my experience last night it seems that the biggest threat to anyone is a circling light mech or a sniper with a railgun. it's kinda annoying when you get one or two light mechs circling you chipping away at your armor and there is nothing you can do to stop them.

I just beat the campaign

the whole campaign is fun, but guess what happens at the end?

1. You don't get credit
2. You can't go to Solaris anymore
3. The ♥♥♥♥ mission just sits there.

EDIT: Oh, and I can't connect to servers for some reason, so multi is out.

we could, idk, organize a DRL party, and whoop each others asseswhen the servers get back online. i would like to play some time around 17GMT/05pm GMT

Edit: Wtf? I open the game using the download link you guys gave, and it tells me to insert disk 2 of Mechwarrior.

I seriously can't connect 2 Multi 4 sh*t. Hao 2 Feex.

I can't even run the game, it keeps telling me to insert Disk 2 of Mechwarrior >.<

Edit: Oh my God, this MtX thing is useless crap. It locks up nearly every time I try to reopen it and just closes.

Steps to install.
1. Download a torrent (if you have the mtx, skip to step three. if not, do this.)
2. Download the .mtx from the torrent
3. open the MTX program until it says server found blah blah blah online mode.
4. Open the .mtx with the MTX program.
5. Wait.

Profit.

If it stops after installing all the .mtx files, you haven't installed correctly. You need to do it in online mode, or you're ♥♥♥♥.

Ok, I got it working, and I can say...this game is incredible. My current team is a Hellspawn, Commando, Bushwacker, and Chimera. I just did my 4th mission, and things are going very well. I'll play some more tomorrow.

Arhg, it tells me i need .Net 3.5, which i have higher version already >.<

Annihilator as leader, an atlas as 2nd, 3rd is hellhound, 4th is mauler.

I must say, though, I'm not a fan of Commando. He looks dumb, and has only Energy and Missile slots.

I'm a bit too keen on ballistic weapons, usually I find myself using a mech fully loaded with autocannons and railguns.

I got myself a Thor for myself, and my second guy has a Loki. My team is annihilating so far, this game rules.
