   |   Game Nostalgia ThreadSince i've seen a few gaming threads today about games similar to games i used to play, i've decided to make a game nostalgia thread. I'm gonna start with Dominant Species here, a game where you play as an alien race and had to fight against humans who came to the planet for resources. and a Wikipedia articlehttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dominant_Species_(video_game)

   |   Re: Game Nostalgia ThreadDark Reignhttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dark_Reign ... ure_of_War I used to love it, but it automatically installs DirectX 7 or something like that, so you have to reinstall DirectX.

Down plus punch. Sends 'em reeling, potentially into obstacles. Oncoming traffic, for instance. Up plus punch to do a back-hand slap, which is way better than a punch at knocking people off their bike. Between those, punches are pretty useless.

   |   Re: Game Nostalgia Threaddune. that game was fun.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dune_%28video_game%29 strangly, i played that game when i was 7 all the time, never payed attention to plot, forgot about it, forgot the name, and rediscovered it last year after falling in love with the book.

   |   Re: Game Nostalgia ThreadMyst, the original. Never beat it and I was too young to truly appreciate, but I have some fond memories of that game. Recently found the disk again, but it crashes whenever I try to flip a switch, and is slow as hell.

   |   Re: Game Nostalgia ThreadThere was this space game I had like 10 or 11 years ago back when I had a Windows 98 machine. Some kind of 1st person space ship flying thing where you fly through space and fight some other space ships. I think the main menu screen was your mothership's loading dock.
