   |   Monster Hunter Tri for the WiiReleased in the US today, but it gets here tonight. They should've made it for the PS3, but atleast the Wii won't be a total waste of money to me anymore. Anyway, who's buying the game, and what weapon will you use? I'll be using the switch axe, the hammer, the great sword, or the long sword. Which is pretty much all the weapons actually... Trailer:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8fzEGMJordE Wiki page:http://monsterhunter.wikia.com/wiki/Monster_Hunter_3 EDIT: Actually, post your hunter name and ID instead.

   |   Re: Monster Hunter Tri for the WiiI currently play MHFU for the psp, and it's awesome, but if this is gonna go through, it'll be toned down so badly that they may as well have not called it MH because for the fans it'll suck.
I might get it, depending on how it looks post-release

Why do you say this? Why dash our hopes at finally having a good Wii game? ...This really should be on PS3 instead. I don't know why developers limit themselves by putting games on other consoles. [/rampant fanboyism]

   |   Re: Monster Hunter Tri for the WiiQuote: Monster Hunter 3 is the third installment in the Monster Hunter series and is the direct sequel to Monster Hunter 2. It was first announced for the Playstation 3, but was canceled. Capcom, specifically Capcom managing corporate officer Katsuhiko Ichii, announced on October 10, 2007 that Monster Hunter 3 will be a Wii-exclusive title. [1]HMM I DON'T SEE WHY THEY RELEASED IT ONLY ON THE WII. But really I'm interested in this game.

   |   Re: Monster Hunter Tri for the WiiUm, wiffles, I agree that Corruption was good, but both brawl and Radiant dawn could have been better games on other consoles, the only reason that they are good on the wii is because they rely on factors other than the engine itself. I understand that they aren't that bad, but they could have been even better on the 360 or the PS3.
If MH3 goes the same way as corruption, it'll be an awesome game, but it still won't reach it's full poetential.

I don't know if you're getting what i'm trying to get at here.

Also, Sequels should be on the same console/same brand, to allow the current fanbase to play the sequel, as opposed to trying to get a new fanbase three games into the series.

So, you say the only way it can be good is to either be on the old console or the ♥♥♥♥ expensive console that basically is defined by its good graphics?
And that the company hasn't delegated a long debate about which console it should be on, I thought the fanbase was loyal, and would follow suit like they always do.
Maybe they want you to experience aiming, shooting, and swinging swords instead of fapping to outrageous graphics.
Maybe they want you to experience the gameplay, not how much needless funds the excreted to make graphics that you don't need.
Maybe they want to give a dieing attempt to please the little kiddies a good mark for finally pleasing the actual hardcore fanbase?
Oh and full potential? Mo' like needless pictures to fap to.
If you are a god game maker, you can make a gold medal even with bad representation. Like Cortex Command, Dwarf Fortress, and Minecraft.

Don't ass about it, a done deal is done, accept it like Cortex Command, Dwarf Fortress, and Minecraft, they "could" have been "better", but they choose "wrong" and still are great.

   |   Re: Monster Hunter Tri for the WiiHey hey 360? As good as PS3? Haaaaaaaaahahahaha. I think this game would be better on my phone than on Xbox.
Foa: I am a fanboy, your arguments are invalid.

In any case, I've changed my mind about getting this. With stuff like SSFIV, MvC3, and Red Dead Redemption coming out, this might be a borrow sometime in the distant future if any of my friends get it. Maybe a Christmas present.
