Hello folks, I finally got my hands on a camera so here's two of my drawrings

Both are image based, done on patty paper with a .07 ballpoint pen

The first one's right foot is too small and the leg is a bit too short. Both have messed up right hands, and I think the neck area of both looks strange. Everything else is amazing, especially the shading.

psyk323 instead of drawing shitty anime, try and draw what you see. you cant improve by learning a style and not the fundamentals.

G: Be more constructive with your feedback, please.

Anime style is a simplification of real life. If you just stick to one style and just draw like that, you're never going to improve.

listen man, if you learn to draw by drawing humans with wrong proportions you're not going to get far.

read some of http://www.scribd.com/doc/17395096/The-New-Drawing-on-the-Right-Side-of-the-Brain
and if you cba with that copy some of this http://www.scribd.com/doc/9561347/Burne-Hogarth-Dynamic-Anatomy-in-English

its tough stuff and you probably dont care since you dont want to be an artist. but if you want to get better, learn this ♥♥♥♥.

So I've been doing some experimenting using some inks and charcoal for an art project at college (focused around images of conflict)

So I thought i'd put some up here for your viewing pleasure (some are a little messy as the ink bled a little more than I had expected)

the books are boring indeed but they do help if you copy stuff out, your choice though mate.
its nice you've tried some tricky perspective on your new drawing.

Psyk: Why is your stuff so huge? You know, drawing on a smaller scale is good practice for being more precise.

Dude, you want to get better, learn to draw anatomy. Remember the basic measurements of the human body. Try to draw realistic once in a while, helps you remember the anatomy. Only then you can simplify, and it'll look better than your old one.
Hell, I get to remembering anatomy by drawing some porn once in a while.

I have Drawing on the right side of the brain and it's really good.
(Just in case anyone is curious as to why I have no art here it's because my
scanner is being annoying.)
I'll be sure to post some art soon...
