help, i have a folder in my cc that has a error and it dosent let me, rename it, move it, or delet it. i need help or my cc is broke forever!

You need to end any Cortex Command processes that are still running. To do this on windows press ctrl+alt+delete and click on task manager if there is an option to do so. Then go to the processes tab and scroll down till you find Cortex Command.exe. Click this then click end process.
Alternatively, you could just restart your computer then delete the file.

Happened many times.

Has something to do with a recently installed mod. To fix it, keep moving your .rte's in and out of the folder and running and wuitting till it works. Then the last moved folder will be the corrupted folder. Delete it.

It's to do with the setting.ini, not a mod.

You should reinstall cc.

Did you, by any chance, forcefully close cc?

yes... it had a error and forcfully closed onece before that!

Then get anyone's copy of Settings.ini and replace yours with theirs. No biggie.

Sometimes if you force-quit CC before it has quit itself, it breaks Settings.ini. I keep a copy of it close by in case of this.
