I'd perfer a sideview too, would be more fun, and it could have a huge ass minigun on the front bottom.

The Tiger was a pretty well-made helicopter- you could use it as a reference point if you ever get stuck. CHOPPAHHH

Re: UniTec (B23_1.4.0)
Personally, I think a front view works best for anything designed primarily as a transport; dummy dropship, vault-tec vertibirds, but that a side view works better for crafts with offensive capabilities, such as Grif's plane, or the Tiger that Ragdoll linked to.

Re: UniTec (B23_1.4.0)
I really love the fins at the back, but the glass could use some work. Just something detailed behind it would be great.
I also love the UniTec logo on all your craft. You should make a heart replacement for your units.

I'm afraid I can't do much behind that glass, but this might be a bit better.

Re: UniTec (B23_1.4.0)
Yea the tiger was what I was referring to. I remember that it was really annoying to handle. All it needed to do was to be able to hover and maybe be able to switch weapons with z like UniTec does. Re-sprites and Lua are in order. Hope UniTec gets one of these...

Re: UniTec (B23_1.4.0)
I did a really quick edit, I added a practically invisible chair behind the glass, and I added more of a highlight in the upper left. I'm not entirely sure if I like it though. Attachment:

Edit:Tried making the chair lighter, but again, I am unsure if I like it.

Re: UniTec (B23_1.4.0)
Not bad at all. Problem is that it's an empty chair though. I like the shading on that window. Edit: It is not turning out as I hoped. Can't get the hull right. (I based it on the Orca in Command & Conquer 1.) Ah well. Enough for today. Edit2: Total overhaul.

Re: UniTec (B23_1.4.0)
I don't know if I like the new hull or not. I think I might prefer the old one. That is, the semi-old one.
Yeah, that one had a nice chunky look about it. Can't quite put my finger on what I don't like about the newest one though.

Re: UniTec (B23_1.4.0)
You could just follow the Mech scheme?
But personally I kind of like the new haul. Just tone it down a bit. And a side-view is what I would go for.

Re: UniTec (B23_1.4.0)
Well, that's look like a faster version, but weaker too, nax prefers previous to overhaul. We're talking about a drop-ship, not about a plane.

Re: UniTec (B23_1.4.0)
Since everyone's contributing, here's my go at it- I made the glass more translucent than opaque and I also added a shadowy figure behind the glass (complete with skinny arms!) No changes made to the hull, though. Although, my version kind of looks wimpy :S Gotcha!'s latest design has the glass looking like it's an inch thick. Maybe I lightened it too much. EDIT: Manlier version uploaded.

Re: UniTec (B23_1.4.0)
New UniTec is great. The rocket, the teleport system and the new (less plastic-like) yellow elite armor are my personal favorites.
Nice VTOL craft going on there, btw.
