Allods Online
Alright, homies, this game be raw. It's a sweet mmo, with a lot of shiny graphics, and some cool features that I've never seen in an mmo. One of my favorite is how Mages and Summoners can charge up spells before a battle, and have them prepared for instant casting. Oh yeah, you can get fudging airships. There's that too. I have 2 or 3 screenshots, and a link to the site, if you want to sign up. Spell Charging First Fudging Zone Elementally Charged Mage http://allods.gpotato.com/

Re: Allods Online
What does it have going for it that WoW doesn't? From the screenshots, it seems extremely like WoW, aside from one novelty.

Not that I like WoW, but the models looked ripped from it.

Re: Allods Online
It looks very different from WoW, I think, and a lot of it is very different. It's free, so feel free to try it if you don't believe me. Also, if you play as a Gibberling, you play as 3 of them at once.

If you want inovative go play Last Chaos, the only MMO I've played with an active bounty hunter system on other players. And clan wars just rules in LC.(300 players pvp anyone.) Back on topic, it looks like your everyday let's make a free MMO with locked content so we can earn some money. Benpasko wrote: Also, if you play as a Gibberling, you play as 3 of them at once. Now that is one of those things I might like....

Re: Allods Online
It's disorienting at first, to have three people, but it gets cool once you're used to it. Also, type /afk as a gibberling. It's incredible. THis game also has a sport called goblinball. The goblin is the ball.

Generic MMO clone no. 6098352345
I see nothing that distinguishes this from every MMO since everquest

Re: Allods Online
I played it, I didn't like it. I uninstalled it. Generic boring grindfest.

Re: Allods Online
All MMOs are grindfests, that's the whole point. (At least it is from the company's perspective.) If you don't like to grind, don't play MMOs.

Re: Allods Online
It's true, I've yet to find an mmo that isn't a grind fest, but this is a well done grindfest with a few interesting points that I've never seen.

Some of them make grinding interesting and you forget that you are grinding. This one doesn't.

Re: Allods Online
Some of the WoW questlines mmake you forget... The new endgame is more "Oh wow dungeons everywhere" than "Lets grind for Fire Resist gear".

Re: Allods Online
Yeah, it's still not perfect but Blizzard have done a lot to remove the grindy elements from the game. You can't really tell until you are level 60 because they haven't changed the classic zones yet, but I guess that's what the next expansion is for.
I guess you get what you pay for though.
