hi, i was makeing my first actor useing the tutorial by dragon, and for some odd reson it dosent load my file! see if you can help me

(i'll put the link to downloaded it if someone tells me how)

crap howed that get there...

You changed the folder, it has to have.rte at the end.
Also, if your going to name this thing blue shiny dummy.rte, you have to go into every file and change DummyTemplate.rte into blue shiny dummy.rte.

i go and change them but when i hit save it says "cannot save blue shiny dummy" then i go to dave again and it repeates. what do i do?

p.s. do i have to change the "dummy template" to "blue shiny dummy" if theres no .rte after it?

Is your folder on the desktop?
Also, i do not understand what you mean on the second part.
I take it English is not your first language?

• Alrighty, I fixed all of the Presetnames for the .rte.
• I fixed the filepaths only for the sounds.ini as well as the presetnames.
• I abbreviated the .rte name.
• I fixed the Index.ini.

All you have to do is go through and change the filepaths for all of the folders except for the Sounds.ini.

(be careful with filepaths and such because they are space and caps sensitive)

(edit) o.k., i loaded it anyway to see if it would work and it said it aborted because it failed to load (shiny blue dummy.rte/sounds/bonehita.wav, i thought you said you did the sounds, or does that have to do with filepath?

(edit2) im no good at codeing, or even spriting for that matter.

@411570N3: Yes, it does matter. Correct typing of file names is absolutely and in all ways critical, since CC doesn't have a way to decipher typos like a word processor.
