I deleted the commented words and still no dice. I'm going to put everything into my devices folder and see if anything different happens. (I have a back up .rte)

End Result: I'm seeing error windows for the absent devices! (Let it be noted that If one is experiencing disappearing actors or devices place all in one folder and look for error windows for absent bits and pieces.)
