Frankly, I think Duh deserves it this time. I was already crying manly tears of joy and yelling OH MAH DATA THIS IS LIKE FUDGE CHRISTMAS when I noticed the post date. Frankly, I'm considering telling HK to make it skeletal tentacles, but I might think about forgiving Duh is she tells us that the whole password-compiling thing is fake. Cause it is, right? RIGHT?!?

Data would be stupid, IMO, to put the ini compiling into CC, especially for the reasons listed.
We already know about turn-based features.
The rest sound like total BS.

Nice try, but you pretty much made it obvious it was a lie on the first sentence. :P

I don't think tentacles HAVE skeletons normally. Well, not in octopi anyway.
Besides, I already drew the picture and I don't think I feel like completely redoing the tentacles.

Octopi and squid don't have skeletons at all.

And yes dragon posted correctly I have a randomly rotating avatar. It picks from a series of images and displays a random one every time someone tries to call it.

Fine I'll spill, I made most of it up, hope you guys had a good scare/jizz ^^

"compiled .ini" is not real.

Encoded ASCII or Unicode could be possible for this, but I really doubt Data would go through the trouble of implementing such a tedious and hardly-needed "feature".

Hey uh, for anyone who's still mad at me, I would suggest copying the entirely of this post into a text editor. Maybe hit the quote button on it too.

Like miles was saying he expected, there are pop-up turrets and the like that have a little activation animation (which will be pretty cool when the content devs are able to catch up with Data's coding).
Not really exciting or interesting enough to be a good prank if it's also BS. So, you've covered both extremes.

Unless we really are getting ATurrets or whatever, which would be kinda neat.
...thinking about it kinda makes me want to make a HL2 combine turret that's invincible against anything but improper orientation.

Words 1 and 2 were already confirmed by Data. Most of them at least. I don't know if he'll have all missions laid out or only ones you can do.
