Re: Online Play - Yes I did get it working
You installed it wrong. Make sure that you extracted ALL of those folders to your Cortex Command directory.

I got to the part where it says "Game on!", I saw the level, but I get disconnected shortly afterwards. And then proceed to go through the whole process to get disconnected again.

Sounds like your partner disconnected from you. Unfortunately that's a problem when you're playing with other people.

Re: Online Play - Yes I did get it working
After some further playtesting(I'm either extremely patient or lucky, you guys need to stop hogging slots :l), I've found some nasty bugs. Apparently, the Coalition homing missile launcher appears to go insane. As in very insane. Secondly, some of the Axe Cop transformations appear to be a bit off. I have good reason to suspect that while the ingame engine can understand the actors, Lua can't seem to find the MPed actors well.

Re: Online Play - Yes I did get it working
There must be some bug when people connecting, there can't be that 10 people in a row disconnects when I join. or this is indeed a aprilsfools joke...Edit: Anather thing, when connecting it says "2 non-default mods found - downloading" ... Often one of those are crobotech and it's says the mod is ~10000kb - crobotech is ~5mb... Edit2: After downloading crobotech manually it still thinks crobotech is not installed... Curiously Axecop and Crobo is made by TBL and Grif... I call this bogus. Edit3: After looking in Main.lua and connectiontools.ini, It's clear this is crap. This was really low. Also: http://i41.tinypic.com/23jomeh.jpgPeople have such odd (misspelled) mods installed...

The only problem I see is the fact that everyone disconnects as soon as the scene starts...

Re: Online Play - Yes I did get it working
It's pretty awesome seeing such mixed reactions to a groundbreaking (... rebreaking?) release. I loved connectiontools.ini. Too bad it freezes up due to WINE's crappy handling of the DLL. nice use of timers, by the way. Those make it so much more realistic. But man, that was some serious code crapped out there.
