Re: Art Dump
just increase the contrast in the background. darker grey flat BG with lighter (now is fine) slightly textured FG will increase visibility. Sorry, missed the context

Re: Art Dump
They look like Chariot's kobolds though, the ones from Dwarf Fortress.

Geti wrote: just increase the contrast in the background. darker grey flat BG with lighter (now is fine) slightly textured FG will increase visibility. you can't do that in PW, you just choose a map to use and then start a match on it, changing the background would have to be done by hand so you don't edit other peoples stuff and I guess people would moan at you for doing that so yeah the only option he really has is making his kobolds seem lighter, atm there isnt enough contrast but you don't have to compromise the colour too much to make it stand out more, but the fact that the building material has a high contrast with the background doesn't help at all. @lizard: I hope you realize I'm not saying they're bad by any means, just that they don't stand out enough. and when I said very messy I meant the building work, I like the idea behind it but there's too much emphasis on rope detail which I think makes it looks messy.

Some of the nicer PW sprites I've seen.
