Re: Art Dump
not art so much as a tool, working on it today, going to use it for a game or two, but it'll need some tweaks. I was wondering if some of you pixel geniuses would try working with this palette and see how it works out. It's intended for game use, so the sepia is for the brunt of the work (esp in backgrounds) whilst the colours are for entities and important features (splosions and the like), so if you could use it with that in mind I'd be grateful.

Re: Art Dump
If you have the colors more varied, like mixing in purple or brown in red, you can use the more effectively.

Re: Art Dump
not so keen on the cold sepia shades, or the green yellow, but yeah, I want to do this with the blue and green ramps in particular so i can get a more depth into the lighter blues rather than using the grey. I'm also thinking of making one of the darker sepias into a deeper red/maroon. I was surprised at how bad it didn't make CC look. for such a difference in colour content, I'm pretty happy with that (though I hate the sky backgrounds..) I'll do some tweaks tonight I suppose.

Dithering isn't for making colors, dithering is for getting texture. @geti: I tend to overcomplicate things alot, that and your palette is nice, just a bit monotonous for each color imo.

Re: Art Dump
I went ahead and made a little 2d scene with your template I don't like limited colors.
