I love big, bloated weapon lists. If you still have them, keep all the old weapons in, just commented out in the indexes, etc.

Ew. I think redundant or excessive weaponry is silly. If you could combine the effects of 12 guns into 6 or 7, you definitely should, and definitely get rid of similar weapons or worse, near copies.

Blah have a alpha and tell me what you think.

On the DSA8 Command Version, press X to release a automated gun pod. For the three multi-mode weapons <VF Weapon/Energy Weapon/FORCE>, press Z to change modes.

[EDIT:]
I've already planned for the Apis to not use the regular weapons, it'll come with it's own light weapon and digger.

Keep the grenade launchers please. They're fun to use and they're great crowd clearers. Plus they shoot over things.

Talk to Darlos about having the buttons configurable. I'm sure he'd be happy to help you.

It's good to see the streamlining I suggested a while back. Also, yes, if you have some key config interface questions I'd be glad to help.

It seems like a download problem, try redownloading?

I can't get it working, every time I try to download it, it says a file is corrupted. Let me check which one again...

! C:\Documents and Settings\Ben\Desktop\Cortex Command(b23)\DSTechAlpha2.zip: CRC failed in DSTech.rte\DSRobots\DSA9c\weaponswitchHEAVY.wav. The file is corrupt

So..uh...how I fix?

Edit: Well, I just took the other beta's sound file, and it worked just fine. But I think someone(other than me, of course) should post a fixed version.

... you're going to have to ask me something specific.

Also, my "experience" with this culminates in a single tiny .lua file. I'd probably be easiest to just show it to you and tell you how it works.
