Alright, a v1.35 bugfix/minor feature release:

  • Added a warning for enabling Unitec, because that was a lot simpler than trying to find that file in the mod manager. If you know any other mods that also have activities files enabled in a different place, I can add those as well.

So, i thought id ruin your fun and ask, how do i change the spawn zone? i see no options for it, simply en/disabling mods, money and spawn intervals and what spawns, i guess it would be on the last tab but theres no way i can find to change the actual spawn zone. if you can help please do so :D
*edit* ignore a big section of that, for some reason only 2 pages showed up for me, and i just reread it and realised it never said it had that function ><

Ugh, I don't know if this has been answered yet, but I accidentally deleted my Skirmish waves! How can I fix this so I can play skirmish again?

Right click and select add to, then choose a dropship from the panel on the right and the "thing" type in the drop down, and leave the text box. Rinse and repeat for actors firearms and explosive ect.

In the source code, you reference the namespace "XmlConfig" and Visual Studio is complaining about it not existing. Where the heck is it implemented? Is it a separate lib or a file you forgot to include in the source download?

I can't find it on Google or in the source files. Are you sure you didn't pull it out of your ass and it magically worked when I compiled this earlier? :P

There must be a different way of doing this. "This" meaning recovering your skirmish waves AND creating new waves. It's just tiresome to have to sit and add every little thing one-by-one.

I did the same thing on accident, actually. I downloaded the Cortex Command Demo, then the Mod Manager, and bound the new Mod Manager to the Demo folder. Then I saved the wave config from the Mod Manager as "default" and moved it over to my 'Full Game' Mod Manager "Activities" folder.

Then you just load the "Default" save.

I hope I explained that easily. Probably not.

Check out this skin I made based on the CC main menu in Microsoft Expression Blend 3:

I like. The text color is a little clashing (but it's like that in CC), and the mod enabled/disabled colors will have to be tweaked, but it's promising.

I don't want to have the design get in the way of the functionality, though. It bugs me when programs are a pain to look at.

I've been working on my own UI changes as well, to clean up the bland-ness:

Perhaps we could combine the best from both (I'm pretty fond of my "Run CC" button now).
