If decent water was ever to be added to CC, it would probably require an extra physics engine inside CC to work properly.

Adding pixel water would be pretty stupid, it will be laggy, and probably not very effective (And ugly cause pixel water would be solid blue), so the only way to do it would be adding jello like 'chunks' of water (Like in most advanced-ish falling sand games) that could merge and break free from each other when interacted with (Why merge? Because if idle, having one bigass chunk will be less laggy than having 100 small chunks constantly coliding with each other).

It would definitely stand out though, but I honestly think it could work.

But for that, 1. Data will have to actually want to add water to CC, 2. optimize game engine so you won't have 0.1 FPS each time a small wave is formed and 3. Data will need to fix MO-MO collision issues.

So that sums it up, there will never be water in CC that is much different than the current pathetic excuse for it.

Bravo, for saying something I was trying to explain through the whole thread. What I'm talking about would be like falling sand water except, it would maintain surface height. Each body of water would expand by some rules, no chunks of water colliding. No physics engines, just some calculations to get some cheap effect of water together. I explained everything I could have (it not being complex, no physics actually being taken into effect, just some small calculations on a big scale creating a cheap effect for water) on the first page, but there are still people who come in and say how complex, laggy it would be and how water would require complex physics engines, and not reading what I wrote.

I would actually like to talk to Data about it, since he would actually know if it would be possible. But I don't know where to contact him, the last time he visited the forum was a month ago.

It is better to pm, and email him this WHOLE ENTIRE THREAD.
So that he will get the whole gist of it, because I didn't understand the part about the water until Maxim posted.

Actually, you got it all wrong.
I was talking actual physics driven water via extra water-only physics engine in-game.

I know its not possible but its better than to spread light than to spread darkness. Like saying its impossible when nothings impossible. Even dribbling a football. Theres a way but its very difficult and i understand that. I just think we should keep trying than give up. and thanks for the eaisest explanation lastbannanna.

No. There are laws everything is ruled and restricted by.

Wow how old are you like 12?

Yes and yes. Also, grammar/sentence structure.

Cool story bro.

1 FPS doesn't count. If it did, many people here could and would have made it by now.

Rikimaru, do you know when someone is being sarcastic over the internet, like Whitty just was? Also, I would very much like to see this water of yours.

Ninja'd by Whitty.

Test it. Take the water guns and use the computer and control them and make them turrets. On my computer it doesnt lag. A little but not much. And 2+2=fish was a joke and im not 12 im 15 and your definetely not smarter than me and i guarantee it. I was just proving my point. There are no laws about math. I can say fish+toe=nanomites. Its quite simple if you try it. Everythings possible. Im not done with my test and structure of it and it will take a while but i will complete it. I swear it. But first try that test and tell me if it lags you or not.
